There are so many layers in that movie, I've seen it perhaps 30 times, and I nearly always discover something new.
One of my favourite scenes is after they got their money, and celebrated, it was enough that one of them say "shall we go?", and then without any further word they collected their weapons to revenge their friend, knowing they will all die. That bond between them, and relationship to their friend was more important then the money they received from their last adventure.
