What song are you listening to?

Was in the Abba museum in Stockholm - my wife is an Abba tragic - and was reminded of this very respectable early 80s effort from Frida

Bit of a girl power vibe there L !
Yeah it was actually Women in League round too. Personally like that there's an NRL round dedicated to recognise and celebrate the contribution of women in Rugby League - from mothers, partners to canteen volunteers.

All right, sounds good. I think it’s good to recognise all the women around our game.

My father travelled a lot when I was young and my Mum didn’t drive but I never missed a game, home or away, wet or fine, coz Mum was always on the job via buses/ trains/ on foot. Training and games, like most Mums she was a gem. She even used to help me get the mud of my boots by rubbing Vaseline on the soles before the games and then cleaning them and putting newspaper in to dry them out. She died 12 years ago but you never forget those things. Good onya Mum !

They are seriously underappreciated because of the kitsch factor - but created some brilliant pop music - and those ladies could really sing & harmonise better than these flips on auto-tune nowadays!

Bjorn and Benny were very clever writers - composers and producers who deserve their credit - but are just happy with $$$$$ nowadays!

Like Fleetwood Mac - they peaked in quality of output while all their interpersonal relationships were unravelling.

This song was written when words of a song meant something. I remember our Primary school teacher played this for us about finding your own way in life. I'm sure this applies to WTs.
