What song are you listening to?

Yea but Cher is in a different league to the rest.

I mean I like 80's music. Don't get me wrong. Yet someone said "in the 80's you could turn up at a pub and a live band would be playing like":
Midnight Oil
AC/DC
The Angels
Rose Tattoo
INXS

All of the above sorely under-appreciated.

It was probably Dave Gleeson who said it.
Cher is though in a league above "dragon" and "ice House". I was lucky to hear her live working casual hospitality. OH BOY... VILLAGE PEOPLE supported and to hear them LIVE! 'it's fun to stay at the ... YMCA' I mean a whole stadium going NUTS.

Cher though has such a history and back album. She is like Kylie/Madonna/Tina Turner. You dig and you find stuff you haven't heard of.

Even "believe" was groundbreaking and groundbreakingly good. Yet Cher has done that all her career. Like not saying I spin up Cher regularly but she really is just a class act.
gotta lump RahRah ,Riahanna in with that lot ,not 2 my likng yet a sweet voice n more

My wife has bought tickets for Paul McCartney in Newcastle this coming Tuesday. We're staying in a place on Darby Street nearish to Queen Street.
I believe there's a free shuttle bus from Newcastle Interchange but is the best way to get there another bus from the city centre or the light rail?
