my favourite qawwali artists are Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Sabri Brothers, Vadali Brothers, Fareed Ayaz/Abu Muhammad and Abida Parveen
They sing in different languages, mostly Urdu and Punjabi.
English lyrics translations can be found on the web and sometimes on YouTube.
Ameer Khusrau's and Rumi's poems/lectures are 13th-century equivalents of Confucious's "Poems", Marcus Aurelius's "Meditations", and Kahlil Gibran's "The Prophet".
