What song are you listening to?

I also saw both Velvet Revolver and the Stone Temple Pilots with Scott

Was Velvet Revolver at the Hordern Pavilion? I'm actually seeing STP in April with their new singer, not that excited for them but Bush and Live should be pretty good!

I have been extremely lucky in the shows I have been to over the years, my favourite ever would be the PJ20 festival in the US. It was Pearl Jam's 20th anniversary shows where they had their own festival that they invited their friends to play at. The highlight was the Temple of the Dog set in the middle of Pearl Jam's set both nights, so glad I got to see Hungerstrike before Chris died!

How could I forget Soundgarden at Soundwave. No one sings like Chris anymore 😢

I was at that show too, also saw them at Luna Park a couple of nights before. I saw Soundgarden and Chris a number of times over the years.

Speaking of Soundgarden, one of my most prized possessions![IMG_20200213_230342.jpg](/assets/uploads/files/1581595635508-img_20200213_230342-resized.jpg)

Best live acts I remember seeing were my band Rammstein who were followed by Tool (Big Day Out? Soundwave?) and also Prodigy at the Hordern Pavillion

I.e. Rammstein and Tool were at one gig, Prodigy another.

Rammstein coming out next year.

What?? Really??? Hell yeah!

Best live gig was Nirvana at the 1st ever big day out. 10 or 15 thousand tickets sold and all of them tried to get into the horden to watch.

They were then followed by the headline acts Yothu Yindi and finally the violent femmes.

Best live gig I've seen was living colour, simply amazing musicians. Pearl Jam on their first Australian tour was amazing. I've seen Live 3 times and they never disappointed and I was fortunate to see Faith No More's last tour back in the 90s. Best Aussie band I have seen is Horsehead, damn those boys rocked.

My favourite live acts: Spandau Ballet, Crowded House, John Farnham, Killswitch Engage, Metallica, Korn, Mudvayne, Static-X and Fear Factory.

Fear Factory 😍

We actually have some conversation around music again instead of Ponyo smashing the thread with music videos.

Crowds have a massive impact on a bands performance, the better the audience the better the band performs. I’ve seen the same band on tour at different locations and the variance was noticeable.

So true, the best gigs I’ve seen have been based on how much the crowd is into it
On the other end,I’ve seem incredible musicians but the crowd just standing around like statues

Best live gig was The Angels, The Divinyls and The Choirboys - Holy Trinity gig at Sydney Uni.

Just beat out the AC/DC, The Angels and Swanee - Sydney Showground Concert.

Must have been their second last, as I saw Faith No More in 2010 🙂

Last headline tour was in the 90's, they have only toured on festival or support since!

Ive seen pearl Jam around 30 times now and live somewhere in the 20's. Pearl Jam never fails to disappoint for me, though they no longer have the insane intensity of those 1st tour shows their current shows are just a 3 hour masterpiece!

This is 100% true, I find Sydney crowds to be a little laidback, similar to our sporting crowds I guess!

I've got bootlegs and videos from concerts in South America and those crowd are insane!

Craziest show I went to was Static-X at the Roundhouse. The atmosphere was electric there.

Would have loved to have seen them
