I've never heard of them actually, it just popped up, and I thought that sounds pretty good, and it is a great sound.
Another reason I put it on here was the title of the song.

Sabaton have a song i think you would like,it is about the unofficial truce that happened on the Western Front at Xmas in WW1 in 1914 with British French and German troops.I will try and find it on youtube if i can and post it.

It is based on fact,an unofficial truce did actually break out in a few locations along the front and there was a soccer match between british/german teams.The high command in all armies were absolutely horrified and moved all units to other parts of the front so the killing could start again.Never underestimate the stupidity of politicians and the military.

Goes back a long way M. When I split with my first missus I tried several times to reconcile with her and the last time, was at a venue when this song was playing in the background. But we both knew it was over ….,
So every time I hear, or hear about this song,I revert back to that sad moment. And it was over 50 years ago !

It's funny how music takes you back to a certain place and time.

Breaking up with your first missus always stings.
