What song are you listening to?

yes i am actually… its just that 90% of my classes are done via video conferencing.. and some of our classes our self directed.. meaning that i have time to listen to music while working... not sure about anyone else but listening to music while working allows me to concentrate better

I've been a wanna be guitarist since I was 13\. As much as I practice, I've reached my potential and it's pretty average. But I absolutely love listening to bands with great guitarists. One of my favourite is JAG from a band called I Mother Earth. He can make it absolutely sing. So I spend a bit of time scouring you tube watching people do covers of great guitar songs. This one is a cracker - Earth, Sky and C - Pretty much nailed it - much like I will one day :joy:

I got to meet a few of my Oz rock idols backstage thanks to You am I .
Powerfinger, Grinspoon, something for Kate, smug .
Had a great night at the pub with most of them afterwards .

I haven't really had much of a conversation other than " hi , how's it going " x 5 over 30 year period. Andy and Rusty I find easy to talk to .
For the first time I meet Phil Jamieson for Grinspoon . He wasn't/ doesn't drink ( I didn't ask) he was the nicest guy ever.
As was Paul Dempsey/Bernard Fanning from powerfinger ect. Everyone has mellowed so much. I goes it was a fund raiser for so it would have been bad form to carry on.z
 
Paul Dempsey, now there is a guy that can sing. I still think his cover of wrecking ball is how that song should be sung.
