Are you a headphones listener, as I assume you are in units from the oval shots?

I usually pick up on most things, but not too up to date on emoji use, so I will take that as a yes? Actually, just remembered that it took me a while to sort out what aka was back in the day.

Edit; Or maybe you like to smile when spying on people on starry moonlit evenings :-(

Ponyo with his 90s hip hop 😂

Bro, please don't expose me
Infront of these civilians 😬

I have just poured myself a Jack and coke to get back to the question at hand. Mind you, I can't remember the last time I poured one at home and bought this one nearly three years ago.

So again do you do your listening on headphones?

Edit; @Ponyo

Enjoy the tipple...

Yes & no to be honest...
I enjoy headphones -
But also listen loud.
Too much wax in the head

Don't want to hijack the thread, so for back on topic, earlier I felt compelled to have a listen to a particular song after a news clip of Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon followed one of our returned PM.

Shaggy: It Wasn't Me

Yeah @Ponyo I listen to headphones sometimes but mainly only when mowing the lawn or on a plane for the noise cancelling effect. Good for the missus though as she doesn't have to put up with my taste for volume.

Have very good hearing, well considering my profession and age anyway, though of course cannot hear the higher frequencies any longer, but love turning up the dial on all of it. I have the speakers to handle the bass of your music style well in a couple of rooms and can always turn on a few big subs if needed for pumping any with real lows, but can't do that too late even in detached housing.

I can relate...my misso hates my music, Beit loud or quite. I don't think noise cancelling Bose headphones would help.. I've been thinking of getting a technics- turntable i'd hate to bang on about it but music doesn't sound or smell the same since digital. - I read the other day that vinyl outsold CD's for the first time since the 80's. -and so I suppose the cycle continues. The music industry is all about streams these days , and that's okay if you're selling hundreds of millions of 'records' at 0.0061 cents. Sign of the times my friend

Definitely a bit of a vinyl revival thing going on and particularly so with the youngsters. Sadly, like oh so many others, having thrown my own boxes full of them when moving house years ago, mine are long gone. Personally, whilst I like the little bit of rawness that it supplies and experience as the needle hits the first groove, having listened to plenty of them over the years, I am happy listening to a well mixed CD.

I think the physical aspect provides a lot of the allure for new take ups, bringing them into the process of creating the sound, from taking it out of the sleeve to switching it on upon placing the album, rather than just scrolling down a screen again. To behold the bobbing of a stylus with it's cartridge whilst hearing the results of that movement through the depths of a groove can be mesmerising if it was mixed well and playing through decent speakers. I assume that they are also getting the visual stimulus of the artwork and written stories or lyrics, which strengthens the overall package.
