I grew up on hard rock and grunge, before transitioning across to industrial - starting with Nine Inch Nails. Bands like Zeromancer (Norwegian) appeared in the early 2000's when Nu-Metal became popular and I've always gravitated towards that type of music.

I don't really listen to anything mainstream but to me all the stuff I do listen to is very melodic.
