What teams do you see dropping out of the top 8

Eels, Knights and Sharks could fall out of the 8. typically there's always a side you don't expect that drops out, Penrith removing a lot of their senior players could be a surprise omission.

as for who replaces them, if Gold Coast improve at a similar rate to what they did last year they will be there or thereabouts, Manly injury free are virtually specials for the 8, and we may well scrape in if we get it together and play consistent footy.

Warriors, Dragons, Broncos imo

To make the 8. Really? Lots of people reckon the Dragons / Broncs will get the wooden spoon.

Exactly. I'm pretty sure mate the thread is titled "Teams dropping **out** of the 8" so NZW, STI & Broncos are mine.

Those teams didn't make the 8 last season.

It doesn't matter, new year, new season..

I think top 6 from last year will make the 8 somewhere again. And I think Titans, Knights, Sharks, Warriors and us will fight out for the other two spots. Dragons and Broncos to battle for the spoon.

There is usually at least 1 team that has a meltdown after making the 8 the previous year.

Last year it was Broncos, previous year it was Penrith.

I'm hoping this year it will be Parra, but who knows. Sounds like it could be Sharks with all the knives out for the coach.

Newcastle - key players always injured. Off field issues

Cronulla -. Look old on paper. Coach under pressure.

Same 6 from last year with WT and
Titans replacing Newcastle and Cronulla.

Souths look stronger than last year.
Expect others to slide given changes in personal.
