What would Blair prefer

Would Blair rather be earning 550 thousand reportedly or a premiership. Interesting what would be more important. The cash or the prestige.

Deep down he could be regretting this tonight . Grand final wins is what players are remembered by in 20 years time not how much money they earn't.
I know what i would prefer.

I'm not sure what Blair would prefer but his missus would be very happy with his move to the tigers.

I'm interested to see how he fairs under a new coach. I'm happy to give him the benefit of the doubt for this year. There is plenty of doubt though…

A questions best directed at the man himself.

I found it quite amusing to hear that Craig Bellamy wondered why Ryan Hinchcliffe stayed at the Storm when he could have earned huge money elsewhere. Considering that Melbourne still have the perfect trifecta in Smith, Cronk & Slater who would take up 75% of their cap (at least) I still wonder if everything is still above board down their? Just my personal feeling. I still harbour a dislike for Cameron Smith - proven that he had signed 2 contracts. He definitely knew what was going on, yet not one player was punished.

As a SMH reporter said - they are like an athlete who has taken drugs all year but are clean on the day.

As for Blair, it is not always about the money but he was coming to a very highly rated team. The new coach would have been telling him that he was "the missing link" for us winning a comp. He would have been thinking that the money was all cream.

It's not his fault the team did not perform this year. I'll give him next year to prove himself.

Disagree. He certainly played his part in the non performance.

Just pure speculation that his wife would be more than happy with the coin Blair is on at the tigers and wouldn't be overly fussed that he moved away from the storm and missed out on a premiership, as said earlier in the tread premierships don't pay the bills.

I don't think he would have even made the storm team this year. He'd be thinking he dodged a real bullet getting paid all that cash for such a below average season.

He's got a lot to prove in 2013.

Yeah, quiet year for Blair, just didn't fit into the structure(if you could call it that) of the Tigers, next year will be interesting. If he was playing for Melb. this year he would have to have doubled the K's he ran each game for the Tigers.
I always remember an off-the cuff remark from Jack Gibson in the 1970's,"buying Forwards from a rival team is like buying a racehorse from Tommy Smith,if you don't pay twice whats he worth he's burnt out and useless"(something like that).I know that remark was pre-salary cap days but it remains to be seen if it applies to Blair & Kite(if he joins).

Even he admitted he was disappointed with his own form, i would like to see him put on a bit of weight & go back to the way he used to play @ the Storm.

Average player made to look good by the storms fab 3 . 2 mill wasted cash!!

if only our big 2 could have made him look as good, but it was more like the big 1.1 here, with robbie being the 1.
