After 6 losses, we came preiously close to losing another. Give it another 5 minutes and we'd been cooked (ironic, that a chook should do that!). Yes, we did concede a few soft trys; we had 28 points scored against us, from an under strength Roosters outfit; and at times, in attack, we still don't seem to have a clue. BUT whether is was luck, grit determination or alignment of the planets, we managed to bring this one home. Make no mistake, a loss yesterday would have sunk has to far greater depth we are in, after a couple of weeks where everything has shaped up against us.
Have we turned the corner? I for one, don't think so. There is still a ton of work that needs to be done. Sometimes though, you need a shot of adrenalin to keep you from despair.
And to give us a way to start the week with a smile.
