107-1 Row 8

Do me nicely thanks.

Weak as, regarding the Ticketek fiasco with no number required. Was surprised nothing had to be entered. Another stuff up that could possibly effect members obtaining best seats.

Just got this email from the NRL:

The National Rugby League has instructed Ticketek to temporarily cease all on-line sales for Saturday night's Telstra Premiership Preliminary Final between the St George Illawarra Dragons and the Wests Tigers at ANZ Stadium. Sales through agencies and via telephone will continue.
>
The move is the result of a technical error in the Ticketek system which has failed to protect the exclusive buying status of members that had been scheduled throughout today.
>
Due to the Ticketek error non-members were able to secure tickets this morning. In an effort to protect members purchasing rights, the NRL has made the decision to take the game off-sale immediately while Ticketek attempts to fix this error.
>
Phone and Agency sales are still available because membership passes must be verified at collection.
>
The NRL will advise all fans when on-line sales will resume.
>
"Hopefully Ticketek can resolve this quickly," NRL Chief Operating Officer Mr Graham Annesley said today.
>
"It is important that we do everything we can to protect the rights of club members."

Tickets Still Available through Phone and Agency Sales
Tickets are still available through Phone and Agency sales.

Just a question on the tickets to the game including train fare. Do you still need to get a train ticket from the window or just go on train and back with your game ticket and present that to city rail staff?

They really need to do something like the airlines do and give you a map of the section and you can pick the seats.

The way they do it of suggesting seats is too inconsistent

Yes!
I got home after 3 and clicked what I wanted 6 or 7 times, best I got was bay 405….so settled for that

Tried again after I printed them just to see what came up, sure enough better seats in 406 closer to halfway ....its 2010 for gods sake this is like 1990s technology

I agree! I don't know why they don't do that!
That's why I rang them this morning so I could choose the seat that I wanted.
I think next time I will just go to ticketek. I have to go there tommorow anyway to pick up the ticket that I bought this morning.

I originally wanted Bay 107.

Was on at 9am, offered Bay 107 but row 4 or something (too close for ANZ), so asked for another set of tickets.
Came back saying unable to process your request.
By 9:10 they were offering me Bay 105.
By 9:15 they offered Bay 104 so I settled for 105 in row 7 :frowning:
No offer for bay 106.

I also tried over the phone. Engaged. Constantly.

Only reason I can see my idea not working is the high turnover of tickets. As soon as a map would come up for me to select my seats, someone else could have selected them and it would be an endless circus of try and check. With an airline there's only 150 odd seats for domestic flights and not everyone is booking at the same time.

I just think Ticketek is pretty crappy. Has anyone had a better experience with Ticketmaster? I've never used them

Yeah I tried all day on the fone too and same result - busy
How long till you got thru alien?

It was busy until around 10.30am. When I did get through I was in a queue for around 15 minutes. I don't really care though because I got a great ticket in the end.
