When does it become our "Territory"?

Hey Guys,
Just something I was thinking about…. (And at the risk of possibly opening a can of worms/slanderthon)
Western Suburbs Magpies played out of Campbelltown from 1987-1999 yeah? By My Calculation that's 13 years...
Wests Tigers have played (Thus far) from 2000-2012... That's the same amount of years is it not?
By my watch at the end of this year Wests Tigers will have inhabited and stuck by the Area (At NRL Level) more than any other team...
Does that not make it Wests Tigers Country?

It should have been Wests Tigers Country back in Round 1, 2000, when Skando scored our first try!

I regard all of Sydney as Wests Tigers territory personally along with large strips of SE Queensland, the Pilbarra (sp?) region of WA, Kangaroo Island and the bakery with the good jam donuts in Castlemaine Victoria

Nothing more needs to be said. Further proof that it isn't just ex- Magpie fans who start this bickering rubbish

I tend to agree… Lately I have been reading a lot of "Our" This and "Our" that from some forumers...
I was just wondering what makes it "Thiers" Now that the Wests Tigers have:
1: Played out of there for more years than any other club
2: Won a premiership out of there
Some discussions I have had of late with some key people, Indicate a real sense of concern over it all....
As far as I'm concerned it's Ours!! (By that I mean WT's)
We have been there longer, The ground has become bigger and better under our tenure, We have had the most success there....
IT'S OURS!!

You need a Coffee Smeg
In saying that…. I Concur!!

You seem to have forgotton they don't play exclusively out of Campbelltown.
Regardless , the Macarthur region should be regarded as WestsTigers territory anyway.
The Balmain peninsula likewise.

Youre selling this area a bit short…..its WTs territory all the way up to Parra, Strathfield, Belfield

in line with this thread title, im interested where the borders lie for our juniors ie where is considered tigers territory (both in the balmain area and in the south west region). for example, as far as i know the northern most point of the balmain juniors goes up to Carlingford with the Carlingford Cougars there, and then on the otherside of the border it turns into the bears to the north east and eels to north west.

where do the other borders lie?

Magpies have probably won more games the. Wests tigers have played at campbelltown… Maybe... Maybe not. Still that's the point.

WT is and will always be geographically and demographically unique.. Balmain & Wests originate from the inner west but its future and talent pool is in the south west. WT MUST lock in this fan base.

Just down the road from carlo, Dundas Shamrocks….south to Concord Burwood...Strathfield Raiders and Enfield feds who play at Belfield, then n/e towards Five Dock and over to Leichhardt and Birchy with Wanderers, Junionrs and PCYC....and plonked in the middle of all that you got Nth Ryde and Holy X

something roughly like this:

Sounds like Queensland's recruitment criteria for Origin

thanks Ink, that's interesting. So going by that, our immediate neighbours are bulldogs, parramatta, north sydney and a tiny bit of south sydney.
