The NRL Grant is available to be used by the clubs as Income… They can spend it however they feel best to spend it.

There is no rules that align the grant with the Salary Cap. Some clubs actually use the grant as capital to borrow funds to pay for a lot more than player salaries.

The bottom line is you can have heaps of cash and heaps of cap space but it doesn't mean you will be able to attract quality players to your club.While you continue to struggle on the field makes it a hard place to sell.

It seems Parramatta have no trouble attracting good players. If they can, hopefully WT can too.

No I'm sure it's a salary cap issue as stated by JT when he first got here.

I'd assume players like Robbie, Galloway, Lawerence, Richards, Blair and a few others may have been overpaid, hence stemming into our salary cap issues.

Regardless, the NRL gives every club a $7 million payment to cater for the salary cap. So we can use our full salary cap

What makes you believe Pat has been over paid Tony? As for Robbie, he deserves his pay check.
