In the defence of Owen Craigie, Here are a couple of links that shed some further light…..

- A pic of him taken last year, Unles he's put on (at an estimate) about 80+kgs I'd say 200 is a bit unfair.

http://www.nbntv.com.au/index.php/2011/02/10/central-charlestown-sign-craigie-dismiss-claims-tahu-will-follow/

I Highly doubt he would be running around for Central Charlestown at 200+

Also adding last year he helped out Inverell for a time I believe...
Either way, I hope he's doin OK for himself!!

I'd be very surprised if he was 80 kg, thats my weight and I have no extra fat like he does.
200kg is an exaggeration clearly, he does look rly out of shape though.
He'd be over 100 kg for sure.

Yeah… I'd put him 120-130 max!!
That's why I said Unless he has put on 80+ since last year, I'd say 200 was a bit unfair!!
Lets face it... None of us like to be called fat!!

With his talent he could still dance around at 120 I reckon….
Maybe not for too long

Unless you're morbidly obese and then 'fat' sounds pretty good.

I reckon in the Newcastle league at 120kg, he would go well,

ridiculously talented, I know he played 3 years of Aus Schoolboys, pretty sure he is the only one, but dont hold me to that…

Im glad he is not going as bad as the original post, as I said previously always rated his talent, anybody who plays first grade whilst still at school is clearly a genius....pity it all fell apart

We've had a few tubby players over the years. John Simon always looked a bit rolly. And there was a guy who played with Balmain. Paul someone? And of course Olsen Fillipano, the professional Reggie…

No more than 105 -110 hes not the tallest guy in the world He never was big on defense so he would be able to cope I think

Olsen Fillipano! there is a blast from the past, he'd battle as a fringe player for us, then they'd give him his kiwi jersey and he'd outplay wally lewis!! he'd grow another leg playing for the Kiwi's

Hey Guys,
About 60% Complete… SOMEONE must be able to fill in the gaps???
Any help would be appreciated!!

Yes paul davis i think hes name was he was dark.

keith cook was a porky mid 70s prop

Edit. Good work batty boy.
I see you haven't adjusted Taniela Tuiaki yet.

Bruce 'Bruiser' Clark had a fair sized girth but what a great ball player (I mean that in the Arthur Beetson sense not the pocket billiard interpretation)… and yeah Paul Davis was a talented footballer that just couldn't quite ever get fit enough - he comes from a famous Aboriginal family up Kempsey, Nambucca Heads way ... Group 2 is traditionally full of gifted lads with surnames - Davis, Donovan, Jarrett etc ...

Sorry I'm just waffling on here but you brought back some Coronation Park - Nambucca Heads Roosters memories.

As you were - please continue

John Simon was 50 when he Joined us but wasn't he??

Possibly. He wasn't too bad in what was a fairly poor side. Loved kicking field goals when we were 2 points up close to full time. Nobody really knew why…
