Where do you want us to play?

Following on from the [home ground thread](https://weststigersforum.com/topic/29793/home-ground-situation-needs-to-change/372), if you had the power to dictate where the WT would play from 2020 onward, where do you believe our future lays?

This may sound ironic but the future lies in our old ground, Leichhardt Oval. From the atmospher and vision points of view there is no better NRL ground in Sydney. With the nearby tram station andtram rails network transport to and from the ground is also comparable if not better than other grounds.

Why pander to other grounds like BankWest when the Wests Tigers that attend are most usually in the minority of the crowd

In my opinion Wests Tigers would have won each of their home ground games played this season at Bankwest if they were played instead at Leihhardt Oval. Sure, there is financial incentive in playing at Bankwest but this incentive pales in comparison to being a team which is near the bottom of the competition because it does not play its home ground games at Leichhardt Oval.

If it were up to me, it would be an 8-4 or 9-3 split of Ctown as our main ground and taking a couple games to LO the same way the Dogs take games to Belmore. It will never happen though. I gave up the Ctown ghost back around 2009-2010. The only way it would ever happen is if there is an upgrade, which will never happen. To let such an enormous junior nursery get squandered is sad to watch.

I think it needs to be a single stadium. I also think it needs to be a "shiny" new stadium in order to attract the sponsor dollars all clubs need. This means BankWest, ANZ or SFS. BankWest will always be thought of as Parra's ground, due to it's location. ANZ is too big for most games. So the SFS it is (for me). The Roosters will try to call it their ground, but most Sydney clubs with more than two fans and a dog will outnumber them (like us at BW vs Parra a couple of weeks ago). What we need is success though. We broke ground records in 2005 because we were winning.

We need to have an identity and sharing grounds with other clubs hinders that chance of creating an identity. Stick to CSS and as @GNR4LIFE said with the games going to LO like the bulldogs do with Belmore.

Crowds at CSS are pretty underwhelming. Doesn't break 10k very often. In my opinion CSS is not the answer.

There was about 16k against the Dogs in round 3. Standing room only. If you have a combination of a winning team and a good timeslot, low Ctown crowds are a myth.

Take over Concord oval. Not a bad ground with a few dollars spent on it.
We have the centre of excellence there anyway.

Campbelltown, but only because we could get out of Sydney and really build something with a junior base. Looks increasingly unlikely though considering we're about to build a Centre of Excellence at Concord and Pascoe won't shut up about Bankwest.

@jrtiger Bankwest is offering the $$$
Pascoe's job is running a tight ship. Books need to balance.

Exactly - which is why we played parra at BankWest (when we were home) because it’s a guaranteed gate. Also why we played Newcastle at Tamworth.
Not saying I agree but I can see the logic

@matchball The Concord Centre of Excellance will according to Canada Bay council will be ready for use by 2021. I would also recommend that the club revamps Concord Oval as a home ground but if there is one thing which Wests Tigers are not big on it is foresight. So it may well be another Wests Tigers wasted opportunity.

That is the question, so you'd be up for a CSS/LO combo?

I didn't stipulate whether the grounds games should be equally shared or not on this basis.
