Where Does Grub Fit In?

18. Reynolds -
For the remainder of the season and offloaded to Super League ASAP would be the best outcome for the Tigers.

However knowing the ineptness, embarrassing loser culture and Intellectual disability of everyone involved with the Tigers coaching staff, recruitment and retention and board they will probably play this dynamic bench for the remainder of the season -
14. Reynolds
15. Liddle
16. Chee Kam
17. Small Prop

@The-Original Earlier in the year, when we had both fit (for a few games only as I recall), I don't remember Reynolds or Benji being on the bench then.

I dont recall either player being match fit at the same time all season. Reynolds started the first month with an injury then Benji was out for a month with an injury, Reynolds first game back he was gassed after 10mins. Reynolds is just coming back now after his second injury of the season and will need to get his fitness back up again, a week or 2 in reggies and than best case for him is 14 or back up for Benji for the rest of the year.

@The-Original It's pretty disheartening, Reynolds and Packer, on about $1.5m between them, and coach wants neither of them. No other club wants them either.

I would feel a lot better about our club's chances if we find another suitor for either.

@kiwitiger
The reason why we can afford to have Reynolds as a back up is because benji is on nothing....pre 2018 benji was supposed to be the cheap back up half with Reynolds being the main man...unfortuslly flr Reynolds injuries happened and now he is the back and his cheaper counter part is out performing him.

As long as Reynolds is here at of Wests Tigers, and fit to play, he has to be part of our top 17 players for sure.

Not many clubs have the luxury of having a player of Reynalds calibre ready to slot in, especially with injuries etc. That game against Brisbane earlier in the season he was great. He just needs some luck with injuries.

Don't know if I would call having a 750k in reserves a luxury. More so bad recruitment.

No room for him!

I am very much in the minority by the looks of it, I have him as our starting 6 and Benji in reserves as back up like he was signed for

Maguire intellectually disabled..that's new..

@WeHaveCheeKam

Benji is In rare form I’d even put Benji at 7 and brooks 6. Benji and Johnson were dynamic yesterday .

@cochise If the coach does not select him when fit he is being negligent..why because he was the clubs marquee signing and proven this season to be the spark the team needs.. Benji was always signed as a backup and to be frank that is his game these days.

He still has a fair bit to offer the team,he just has to keep fit....I reckon Madge probably has an idea where Grub will be at the end of the year...either on the field somewhere or SL....

@TrueTiger I think at best Reynolds can hope to be interchange whilst Benji plays but at least that will give him some worthwhile exposure if he wants to sell himself to other NRL or ESL clubs in the case where Maguire does not see him in WT future plans.
