Where is our CEO ?

Another subject that the Taylor haters have hi-jacked.

I know who is bringing our club down and it is not the administration. You people really need to get a life.

Taylor is not going anywhere, no matter how much you would like it to happen. I have never heard such hatred directed towards someone who is only trying to help our club. Get out of your night clothes and your Mothers basement, give the hate a rest, or go follow some other club.

If Taylor's inability to articulate anything to anyone and his diabolical handling of the Farah issue represents the new era of professionalism in the club then we are in big trouble. Your record of prediction is almost as poor as you believing Taylor is good for the club. It pleases me because based on your backing of him, he will be gone shortly.

MAGPIECOL ru related to JT because that is the only way i can think u would support such a dead head, did u hear what he said when he told us marty was gone, i quote: we have players to replace marty, he was a test player, and impact player we dont have any one who can come near that, please take ur JT mask of and see the light.

I agree that the comments supporting JT are bizarre. There needs to be some honesty from his supporters instead of spinning everything.

I can handle Marty leaving simply because I don't think we should pay overs however we really need some players like Marty who can have an impact on the game.

You obviously haven't heard of Robbie Farah.
Pretty sure he would want to help the club that he is a life member of a tad more than Taylor.
However the venom directed towards him is astonishing.
Also amazing to find so many people who know 'for sure' he got rid of the last 2 coaches, how he doesn't get on with the other players, how it's all about himself.
All this without ever meeting him or knowing anything that actually does go on behind the scenes.
I don't claim to know anything about Farah except one thing - he loves this club.
Makes all the spite directed at him a little hard to swallow.

There was a story today saying Marty was not happy with the treatment dished out to his skipper by the club and coach, so there is probably a bit more to the Tapau going story.

Personally, Tapau would be gone regardless of any treatment of Farah, regardless of coach, regardless of board. $$$$ offered were too good to pass up. What would you do? So ease up on the rest of the BS. People are really stretching the hatred if you blame anything other than money for the move. Are you suggesting if WT topped the Manly offer that he would still be gone? Give me a break.

Almost as funny as this joke…...
What do you call a chicken with lettuce on one eye and a tomato on the other?

Chicken sees a salad.....a ha ha ha

Can you please post that acrticle re Taupau not happy with the treatment of Farah thanks.

http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/nrl/manly-sea-eagles-on-verge-of-signing-marty-taupau-from-wests-tigers/story-fni3gnk1-1227564479635

He is one of a number of players unhappy about the treatment of club legend Robbie Farah.

There has also been speculation Taupau would attempt to do a Jarryd Hayne and try to make it in the NFL. But we’re told NRL is still his preferred option.

His departure will put further pressure on embattled coach Jason Taylor who will struggle to convince a player who doesn’t want to be there to stay.

What has transpired today our CEO should of been on the front foot facing the media ..but what does the club do leave it to Taylor that has trouble putting two words together .As a member and a long term supporter I am very concerned about the quality of the people running our club .I posted at the time until the CEO shows something he is just like the rest all talk no action , I hope someone at the club is reading this as I do not hold the new appointments the club has made very highly ,what a moment the new CEO could of had cementing his authority and leadership for all of us long suffering supporters to see but no hiding in his office and letting Taylor do his bidding well done! Tonight on 9 news Manlys CEO was front and centre not the coach and it made me sick how my club was portrayed .

Well said….totally agree

I am sure I read or heard that Marty had been trying to get a release since round 1 this year, long before any decision was made on Farah.

He is a mercenary and that is fine. He is following the mighty $. Part of me still thinks we should keep players that want to play for us - romantic notion I know. This is nothing new….surely the Maggie fans remember losing the JT's, Sedaris, terry Lamb and many others who left the club for money. But then Langmack, Gillespi and Farrer didn't go to Wests because they loved the club did they....

It's been happening since 1908.

Must be true. Lol.
"I'm unhappy with their treatment of Farah so I'll go find myself another $300k.."

Taupau left because of money however the Farah situation might have made him go and have a look.

Still I don't believe that we should pay overs for players any more. We've been caught out too many times.

Taupau knocked back our offer mid year and got better offers.
Wanted an increase this year to stay - didn't get it and left.
Manly wanted him more than we did and put the money to him….

Him leaving has nothing to do with Farahs' treatment - But I won't say it has nothing to do with Farah.
It was long decided before Farah was going anywhere, The only negotiating involving us was for next year... After that, He was gone, And has been for some time.

I thought when you run in his circles of the upper echelon it was an unwritten rule not to trash your exes publicly?
