Where we lost the game

For me it was between the 25-21 min remaining mark where we had 3 sets on the dragons line. We never looked like scoring then ended sets with:

* a Paterson forward pass
* a brooks bomb that goes backwards
* a Farah bomb that's about 15m too deep

We were 2 points behind then and I honestly think if we score we go on to win. In the early rounds momentum is more important then ever, you tend to see a lot more blow outs. This was when Farah and Anasta needed to take control, they never looked like it. Anasta in particular was guilty. This isn't something that can be fixed over night, however at least having Austin there would have given us another option in attack. The dragons knew Anasta wasn't going to do anything to threaten them.

I think we lost it with the Fulton injury. And i dont mean we lost because Fulton was gone, what i think happened is we stood behind the posts for 5 minutes after being scored against while Fults received attention. Its the worst time to be just standing around with the game stopped after giving up a lead. We lost any groove we had at that moment.

I have to agree with you on Anasta. He has been given plenty of chances with Wests Tigers.. Three mature players with very little impact in today's game were Anasta, Lawrence and Farah. They look to approaching the over the hill stage and need to taste the interchange bench as did Benji.
