Hey everyone!

i'm just running a web-poll to gauge the public opinion

Where would you rather play our home game against Souths?

I'm just re-confirming the web poll that spurred this great marketing decision

Hi everyone

I would be interested to know who DIDN'T vote for Leichhardt, and why they didn't.

Tigergran

I didn't vote for Leichhardt, basically because I have never seen a Tigers vs Souths game at Leichhardt but have been to the two games at the SCG (which I did vote for).

I can understand the complaints about the SCG not being the best ground for watching football, it is very true, but there is just something about playing there.

I go to one day of the Sydney cricket test every year and though I have been there for some big moments/games the feeling I got at the first footy game there somehow outweighed the feeling I had at every game of cricket I had ever been to.

I don't know what it is, don't get me wrong I love the atmosphere at Leichhardt (there are few grounds, if any, that have that atmosphere) but I just feel like there is something special about that game at the SCG, maybe it is the history of the games that have been played there throughout the grounds history echoing through to the games now, or maybe it is just me, I don't know. All I know is that it was one of the only footy matches I have ever been to in my then 24 years, now 25 years of life that I felt like I had chills down my spine.

I probably wouldn't mind the game being played at Leichhardt, but for now the SCG is just fine.

The only thing that would have me voting against Leichhardt would be the memories of them beating us in 07 there to keep us out of the 8\. The ground doesn't seem to effect them as much as other teams.

We have performed pretty well at the SCG and it always pulls a great crowd. It's just a shame to be so far from the field..

Sorry Tigergran, i confess to selecting the SCG. Because They don't have soap in the Glenn Morrison stand at Leichhardt Oval..

Leichhardt of course but the SCG gives us and the League community a reminder that the Wests Tigers have a long and proud history.

A history that included some of the most amazing games ever. The '69 Grand Final for example, which is what this game remembers, Balmains last GF win.

I'd be happy to keep a game at the SCG each year but I'd rather it be against the Dragons then the Rabbitohs.

Campbelltown.

Souths have the edge on us everywhere else. In 2008 we need to beat them at Leichhardt to make the semi's and they flogged us.
