His puppet is Rotten to the core.I'm a bit pissed off that the Australian PM and chairman of the Australian RLC are going to take our game to PNG before Perth.
I think they forget who they represent.
Perth 100% should be the next franchise

Mate, that’s nothing compared to the fracas if Olam and Nugilik are from different, warring tribes !How could the NRL nor anybody else in their right minds grant PNG a franchise licence?
After todays scenes in Port Moresby due to a payroll glitch??
A match day riot would only be a matter of time, referees would be in fear of their lives. I don't think this will come to fruition in my life time.
Another job for Richo!!Mate, that’s nothing compared to the fracas if Olam and Nugilik are from different, warring tribes !
You’re gonna be hard up convincing players to go and live in PNG.How could the NRL nor anybody else in their right minds grant PNG a franchise licence?

I don’t think he’ll want to go near that !Another job for Richo!!
They won’t be living there imo, at least if they want a mixed team. Will have to be Cairns I’d say. You’re gonna be hard up convincing players to go and live in PNG.
they won't play any games in PNG though you would think. A political play that the nrl might just have to cop if the Feds pay for most of it.You’re gonna be hard up convincing players to go and live in PNG.
I can't see the current clubs wanting to play away games there either. There's probably a reason no club has ever taken a game there. You’re gonna be hard up convincing players to go and live in PNG.
The govt money could disappear with a change of leadership and with the way Albos going that could be anytime.Don’t shout me down , but if the gov are bank rolling the PNG team , why can’t we just move to 19 , and get the Perth team as well .
The real issue with the PNG team is playing talent . It will forever be on the lower end . The only way it wouldn’t , would be if the nrl/ gov did a swans / GWS and gave that team an extra 5 mil for thier cap .
It’s a beautiful idea , but just not practical . And how long would the gov subsidise the team ? Forever ?
Yeah and not one top 20 player would move there. Absolute joke they are even discussed. How could the NRL nor anybody else in their right minds grant PNG a franchise licence?

Yeh he wont last long. Not sure what hes been dping the last 6 months but it has nothing to do with being proactive in he issues of this country. The govt money could disappear with a change of leadership and with the way Albos going that could be anytime.
Nope. What happens when the home team loses regularly? Wpnt end well.I can't see the current clubs wanting to play away games there either. There's probably a reason no club has ever taken a game there.
The reason no CLUB has taken a game there is there is no money to be made doing so. No money in the economy, no TV revenue. The ARL takes a game there a year to foster the game. The Federal Government wants an NRL franchise there for political and national security reasons.I can't see the current clubs wanting to play away games there either. There's probably a reason no club has ever taken a game there.
Every other sport with less popularity and less money can handle Perth. Most with women's comps now too. It's mind boggling that the NRL see it as too hard.It needs to be somewhere with all the infrastructure, secure and the travel time doesn't impact recovery.
I would like to see Perth, but it's more logistically challenging than another team in QLD or NZ
Its not too hard.....there is just no money to be made from it. Tiny population that all follow AFL. No TV revenue, time zone issuesEvery other sport with less popularity and less money can handle Perth. Most with women's comps now too. It's mind boggling that the NRL see it as too hard.
