Who are the players to leave?

Why dont we send gibbs and fulton to england till 2013 when the salary cap will increase and the squad goes to 30 players.These 2 will be handy reserves in the squad.We should be looking at getting rid of the deadwood players in the squad like j.shirnack,moors,flanagan,a.shirnack and toddy to retire.I would love utai to stay next yr,just think of a wing pairing of lote and utai.

Please don't talk about wing combinations and still close my eyes and dream of what Lote and Tuiaki could of been . :bawling

Junior Roqica is a TOP 25 player, yet cant even crack a starting line up in the lower grade..

Anyone got an approximate dollar figure we would need to cut to sign Blair for next season alone . If they back end his contract (like has been stated by many here ) I would think about 250k -300k . Payten plus 3 fringe NRL players should do the trick in my opinion .

in other words who ever we loose there is enough back up and talent that will match the loss.

Say we loose Fafita, there is someone as good as him there to take his place.
We loose Gibbs there is someone there to take his place.

i think we we loose players due to us cutting them, not because a club has pinched them..
we havnt lost a player since Prince to another team that we REALLY wanted to keep.. that says something bout the clubs recrutiment

Thats my point with Fulton and Gibbs though look at the difference in our defence with and without Gibbs . Would keep Fulton merely because of his utilty value and his defence .Others need to go these two are too vital ., When you make a big time signing and you are paying overs you need to think to yourself . "What happens if he gets injured 1st game of the season for the year " can we replace him . we can't if we get rid of Particularly Gibbs and to a lesser extent Fulton

I believe that we wont loose any players that we really need to keep. We havent really lost any players that have amounted to much in the past and i dont see it happening now. As long as we dont loose Fifita, Woods, BMM or Groat i will be happy with that.

The question was, who would leave to free up the space to sign Adam Blair. I, like a few other posters in this thread, took a shot at naming a 17 with players we'd like to keep and who might be let go.

I named a side with Adam Blair, but that doesn't include Payten, Fulton, Gibbs or Moltzen. Each of these players is rumoured to be considering retirement or offers from other clubs. I don't know if these players will leave or not, but I think I named a strong 17 without them.

Possibly Mckinnon, Daniella, Payten (coaching role after forced retirement) Moors, Utai, Fulton. Lets go back to the local juniors policy we had in 04/05.

Mckinnon for me has been one of our best this year , i was annoyed we signed him longer but he is paying off. Agree with the others maybe not utai.

Thats correct if Gibbs or Fulton were to find another club and sign a contract then that is ok - but if we cut them or try to farm them out to another club we will more than likely have to top up their contract at the other club and that amount will still come under our cap.

Mark Flanagan definitely won't be at Concord in 2012 as he has signed for the newly promoted Widnes Vikings to play in the ESL for 2012 and beyond and it's been pretty well publicised that Todd Payten will be pulling up stumps, I'd like to see McKinnon go but for some reason Are You Being Served signed him up for a long term deal.

Are you serious Leroy? Wade Mac has been a stand out or at the very least above average when he has taken the field this year. By and far the best fullback we have and that includes Mitch Brown who is pretty good there also.

well cause blair plays his best in the backrow sheens will want to play him in the centres, so then our wingers can cover the halfback, the lock can play fullback and we have a bench of backs….. so really no one is safe.... if u understand how sheens coaches
