Why dont we send gibbs and fulton to england till 2013 when the salary cap will increase and the squad goes to 30 players.These 2 will be handy reserves in the squad.We should be looking at getting rid of the deadwood players in the squad like j.shirnack,moors,flanagan,a.shirnack and toddy to retire.I would love utai to stay next yr,just think of a wing pairing of lote and utai.

I don't understand how cutting players on minimum wages will free up anything? We still need to submit a 25 man squad. If we need to free up money, it surely has to be a player in the current starting 13, and possibly another in the 17 as they are the players who have a real value attached?

Yeah but some of the Fringe guys from other clubs must of come at a cost . Moors and Daniela would be on more than the league minimum . Plus you have the money from TNT and Cayless from this years cap . Payten would be $150k to $200k IMO opinion also .Throw in say Jason Shirnack You are well over what Blair will be getting early on and will cover upgrades to Fifita , Lawrence and Dwyer contracts for next season . Could be someone I have missed in upgrades Let me know if there is ???

Have been saying the same thing for weeks, people think by cutting five players on minimum contracts we are going to balance the books–WRONG--you have to replace them with five players on the same minimum contacts in order to have the 25 contracted players on your books. Thats why they have to aim at a few players who are on substantial contracts---Simple really

I think Lote would be a boom centre and playing next to Utai could be devastating because of their strength. Ayshford off the bench covers backs and forwards. Gibbs is a great defender and I think would be a better back rower.

We would also have a good sized pack to make the meters to start with blokes like fifita coming on after 20 who likes to use his footwork and push offloads, and target tired forwards
