Who can be our Terry Lamb (88 Grand Final)

Wouldn’t be surprised to see Brooks fire up. He went after Moses last year the whole game when we played Parra. Wonder if he’ll go after Tedesco.

Was thinking this myself. Surely has to have a target on him, but only if the opportunity presents itself.

reynolds will do something, maybe just verbal, and it'll be interesting.

The least likely is probably Lawrence, but I'd like him to really connect with turncoat turdescos ribs. Bloke is nothing if not a toiling club man since his injury, never bagged a teammate, never bagged his jersey. Surely it had to hurt to hear the way Turdesco spoke about you and the other guys who bust their guts with you all year.

I hope we prioritise playing footy first and foremost, but if the opportunity is there do something hard and still legal I hope they let him know about it.

And just quietly, if something worse than that happens I'll be cheering. There are only two parts of my life where I get this pumped up. Driving in Sydney and watching the footy, if the thought of hearing a massive crunch every time he gets the ball isn't exciting then I don't know where to start.

When Fox replayed the 88 GF over the summer they conveniently left out The hit..sorry tackle…on Ellery ..only showed him being carried off by the trainers

The other thing I noticed was the strategy to kick for the sidelines and pause play and it got me thinking if, based on our CURRENT roster, if it was something to be considered so we continually restart in a strong formation as it effectively stops players like Tedesco gaining an advantage from broken play or backs running the ball back with momentum on early tackles.

Taking this a bit further I wonder if, rather than trying to get repeat sets from kicking into the in goal, why not put kicks up to land just in the field of play, not contest and just wait until the opposition catches the ball, and in numbers, pick him up and carry him back into the in goal. Same result but we don’t give up 7 tackle repeat sets and continually keep our opponents under pressure .

I want to see Turdesco cop a tripple whammy ….
In the one motion .....a coat hanger
(Jaw )
Chicken wing (elbow & shoulder)
Prowler ( knee)
But the tackle would have to look messy so the video ref can't work out what happened

No doubt we will see all of our side laughing and joking with him all game. This is what Rugby League has become nowadays.

Personally I would love him to get hammered legally or illegally, I couldn't give a toss. Unfortunately it won't happen.

Need to be careful. The roosters would be well practiced in the art of the midfield bomb. JT coaches there now and it is one of his major attacking strategies

Yep - can't stand the onfield laughter with the opposition after a game. If we lost i used to be dirty till we got back to training,

I wish him no ill health off the field and in life.

But part of me would enjoy see the Roosters most attacking player bashed out of the game.

Yep, he deserves no mercy. Hit hard, high and often. As the Nike ad goes, Ted…...the hard way or the easy way. Would love to see his jaw shatter like a Sao biscuit after being brutalized by a Packer bone-rattler.
Up yours Ted.

I was always worried about Teddy getting injured every time he played for us especially around the legs area, so now thats the rorters problem. All i want is a defence that gets him running around in circles like a chook with its head cut off

If we go out there & play good hard footy we can surprise a lot of people, if Tedesco gets the ball & we can put a couple of good hard shots on him you just never know. i hate this mob, gee i hope we beat them.

The vibes I am getting out of NRL HQ is the play makers will be protected in 2018, and my guess the bigger the name the more protection they will be offered. We are the last team that needs a player binned or even worse sent off.

I agree some real big hits and a real physical game plan, but would be mad to cross the line

Exactly. We don't need to invite extra attention from the ref's right the start of the season. Bash him legally!

I spose we will need to catch him first, so maybe alot of high bombs giving defenders time to get through and hit him high with a stray arm [Ryan James].

Also, Teddy never liked being worked over on the ground. This is where we could punish him without giving too much away?

I'd like to see Tedseco cop a tripple whammy…
1\. Coat hanger ( jaw)
2\. Chicken wing ( shoulder & elbow)
3\. Prowler (knee)

But the gang tackle will need to look really , really messy so that the video ref can't work out what really happened

Happy days !

ET? No, not in a million years. He's a small workhorse, but not a big hit merchant. Packer maybe, but he's a leader now. No chance he'll do anything suspect. Of course it could all be legal, except we're not the Storm so we'd get heavily penalised for anything slightly suspicious we do.

There's a Daily Telegraph article titled "James Tedesco's Tiger mates would love to put shot on former No.1" But it's behind a pay wall. Anyone got a subscription?
