If Moses is very shortly to move on I think that Cleary should give strong thought to playing Suli at five eight. He would certainly straighten our attack and bolster our defence in the middle. Suli reminds me so much of Brian Clay who played five eight for St George in their extended 50-60's premiership run.
Suli's got his hands full just learning to bein first grade at the moment. There's no way he should have that responsibility dumped on him. I doubt very much that Cleary will be thinking of that one.
Yeah Newcastle made enquiries in the pre-season and were shut down. The form halves in Super League are probably Luke Gale and Albert Kelly anyway, so they'd be more interesting prospects (although Kelly was a rubbish defender when he was at Gold Coast and can't kick goals). Gale is a good goal kicker. I can't see ESL clubs derailing their seasons by immediately releasing their chief play makers though. If we're going to release Moses we'll need to find someone internally or go trawling reserve grade for players like Cameron Cullen, Jackson Hastings or the like.
Brooks / Littlejohn I think and I would put Rankin on the wing and move Suli into centre , drop Frozone , drop Lawrence bring in another big body to the bench , I wouls also play MM for 80 and move little out and replace him with size as well
