Who do you want as our next coach?

A washed up Whatuira **who can't even get a start for the worst Parramatta team in decades**, Faalogo and Lolesi is talent now is it?

Brown may not end up a great coach, but judging him solely in his time at the Dragons is unfair IMO.

Again, Folkes was flat in his last season, understandable after so many years at the one place. They made the finals every year bar two under his reign.

Anderson is a good coach who never should have been punted from that basket case of a club in Parramatta.

As for defense - Sheens has been here for nine years and we have failed to consistently defend well during that whole time.

Did you ever see Parra in the early 90s before the SL war enabled them to buy Pay, Smith, Dymock, McCracken, Freeman, Ritson, Johnston, Raper, Barnes etc….. in 96?????????

Whatuira is 30 & coming off a spell for mental illness!!! He went to Huddersfield at his peak!!! Fa'alogo is a top footballer (when not suspended) & again left at his peak. While Lolesi has been a star over there at either centre or 2nd row (just like Tim used him in 2006)!!!

HT - are you kidding???

Brown had the likes of (Man of Steel winner) Hodgo at his disposal - along with Whatuira - Faalogo, Lolesi etc….... at Huddersfield! And he flicked Hodgo one year after Brett won the aforementioned award - only to see his team struggle!!

Great judge of talent is Nathan!!!

**He may be ready now - but is struggling with a team that now includes LOD - & he is a party-boy from way back who loves sharing a drink with his charges!!!**

Folkes was "mutually released" - he NEVER resigned - but his team was flat as a tack (as was he)!!!! And again he let Thurston go to retain Anasta (another genius with talent spotting)!!!!

As for defence - it should be 2nd nature & our guys have let us down - but that does not mean we need a conservative head-coach who will only leave us back in the middle of the pack!!!

As for Anderson - he is a Brian Smith protege who will never win a comp (just like his mentor)!!!!

Huddersfield are outright 1st with 9 wins and 3 losses even though they've lost their best player in Brett Hodgson. Not struggling

**Hodgson is at Warrington this year!!!**

They lost to the Crusaders this week - and are far from morals for any title this year!!

I concede they are not struggling - but I don't rate Brown as a coach or a man!!!

thats what I meant.

Whatuira was there for 3 years after leaving us - he was far from washed up at 26 years of age!!!

Brown is a Wollongong pub bum!!!!

As for Folkes - he made all of those finals with a corrupt intentional salary-cap cheating team - & won the comp with the same after the NRL allowed them dispensation in 2004 (to the continued embarassment of Gallop)!!!

Re: Defence: The head-coach is not the defensive coach (try moving into the 21st century mate)!!!! Sheens took that role off Royce in 2010 & it was our best defensive year in their term!!!!

First you say Huddersfield are struggling, when they are currently first, then you tell me that the likes of Lolesi, Whatuira and Faalogo is talent. They were OK players at their peak but they are all over there for a nice retirement package.

There are much better teams in the UK than Huddersfield yet Brown has them first at the moment. A pub coach is Terry Lamb, not Brown. IMO Brown will end up a very good coach, he never should have been appointed at the Dragons. Too early in his career, and too close to the players. Was never going to work.

Folkes is a good coach regardless of the fact the Dogs were over the cap.

This idea that there is no coach on the market good enough to coach us is a load of crap. Sheens is not the be all and end all of coaches, if he moves on do you think such a shrewd operator in Humphries is going to hire a "pub coach" so we can go back to the way we were before Sheens arrived?

If Sheens decides to move on then good luck to him. We are a professional club and we will find a good replacement.

have the over Stuary Fittler Johns Benny and some others thrown about...

I'm suprised no one thrown up Blocker yet

if Blocker's coaching is anything like his commantating than he'd struggle 2 get a gig for an under 7's outfit

Lol thats why he was assistant coach at manly…..he would be a better assistant.

The best prop in the 80s by miles

Also, I'm surprised that Daniel Anderson's name has not been mentioned more.

He's taken the Warriors and the Eels to a grand final and also did well in England playing relatively good football.

He would certainly not put up with players having their say in team selections in order to keep their mates happy.

Why does he get sacked by every club then hybrid

Well all i can say is i hope Tim stays as all we would be getting is second best, no one wants any of the above, well here is one name ME yes thats right TIGERBENJI & i will do the gig cheap well fairly cheap. With some of the names mentioned i should apply for the position & Sheens is the best man for the job, up the offer.

One thing you could be guaranteed of if Blocker was coach - none of the players or officials would be telling him how to suck eggs
One of the best props to play the game - not just in the 80's

last time i checked Wests were in the name…how come its perfectly acceptable 2 refer to them as the 'tigers' yet any1 mentions 'Wests' n its how dare you...does that mean there r no Parramatta fans there r only eels fans or Parramatta eels fans? guess calling them just Parramatta is wrong aswell

Not sure why he was sacked from the Warriors but Parramatta are a basket case and are run by clowns with no idea, and I believe he left England to coach over here though I could be wrong.

Sheens came to us after a disastrous stint at the Cowboys, did you all not want him here initally because of that? Can't judge a coach from a stint at one side.

Oh ok then, well what about mathew elliot (jokes). No but seriously IMO i reckon laurie daley or greg alexander would be a good coach at the club.

Wayne Pearce, a tigers legend would really teach us something and be a good mentor for the players in the team.

Great player , great bloke - not a great coach

He never had the great player when he coached us, and unlike Sheens he would go crazy and make changes if the players had a shocker
