Lol….. well lets say; ball park figures we have say $900,000 in our cap at the end of the year being that we don't resign Utai being on $120,000 , Ellis released being on $380,00 and Tuquiri on $400,000 with $100,000 coming by way of 3rd party payments, i would be struggling to be paying Tuquiri more than $180,000 per year his definetley not worth the money his on. So really we have $800,000 on our cap because of the $100,000 on 3rd party payments for Tuquiri . Say were paying Anasta $200,000 per year , id be surprised if where paying more than that, it leaves us with $600,000 . Since we have Heigno and Fulton off contract at the end of next year , i would only resign one of them as they play the same role for the side. I would make a serious play for T-Rex offering him 1st year $450,000 then 2nd year $550,000 , 3rd year $600,000 make back end deals and the $150,000 left on our cap top up Toyota cup players that have the potential to be something in 1st grade . With the new Broadcasting rights expect the cap to go up which means the players will want a larger chunck of the pie . Thoughts guys estimate only on those figures....

You could well be right, but what if we have heaps of backloaded contracts?

I think Anthony Cherrington is in the clubs sights. He makes his comeback from a run of terrible luck with knee injuries with the Jets this weekend as a late inclusion.

Really powerful and skillful right edge power forward.

Has a tonne of promise, would have to think after two knee reco's though that he may self-preserve a little bit though don't you think?

Anyone has inside info mabe sika manu ?? or sam kasinao ??

I've heard the Roosters and Dragons are in contention to sign Manu. The Storm have offered him a 3 year deal but can't match the money on offer by the Chooks or Dragons.

He has had some bad luck but I think he has a real chance of coming back just as strong.

Would be cheap to

I suppose if he doesn't command too much coin you'd take the risk.

One thing i will say is that Josh Davis should be used as a first up replacement option.

He has been fighting niggling injuries this season but for the Magpies in the past he is an explosive ball runner with a massive motor and has more than earned his call up

I dont want this grub anywere near our club. Any one convicted of bashing a women has no place at our club. If we don't want Lui, I defiently don't want him.

As a member I will write to the club stating that I don't want them to sign a convicted women basher.

Pretty sure Ayshford is still good mates with Cherrington from his days at the Roosters - could be a possible link.

He's had such a bad run with injuries, we've got enough talent in the 20s who are in good form

He has actually had 3 knee reco's. You have to wonder how hard to would be to come back from that.
