Who Is Getting Excited For A Big 2013 Season ??

I think a lot of opinions have changed, not too many would call Potter better than Sheens months ago, yet that was all that was ever going to be acceptable, Hasler, Bellamy, Bennett.

Im excited about Sunday….its the 4th.....we all know what that means.

I'm excited yes, but I reckon the top 4 is a bit of a dream. Let's just see how it goes.

I'm excited because I miss rugby league

Many ghosts from 2012 will still haunt us and the Pro and Anti Sheens factions (especially if Sheens is still involved with the club) will come into play at some stage

I won't make any predictions until I see the draw for 2013 , but Top 8 probably will be beyond us

2014 will be a different story if Potter gives the young blokes a fair go in 2013

Top 4 is a dream
Bottom 4 a nightmare …
And everything in between shall become the humdrum of our everyday consciousness.

+1

same old - win approx half our games and hover around that 7th-10th mark. If we have a great year we might finish 4th or 5th at best. Melbourne, Manly and Dogs are by far and away the best teams and the rest of the teams will jocky for positions behind them.

Nah not excited. Looking forward to summer first.

As for RL, I will participate in season 2013 but at the moment have no illusions of us making the top 4\. I will reserve judgement until I see change on the field. The 2012 sqaud as a whole demoralised me as a supporter and left me at the end of the season hating their work.

I am hopeful (but not confident) that they can turn things around.

I'm excited about my holiday coming up in December, even if it is only for 2 weeks! Next season is too far away for me to be excited about it just yet.

iam loyal and will never desert the WT but settle down face facts we have a pack of forwards that would not put fear into pre school team and as we know that is where games are won and lost.

Not excited at this stage. February will probably be a different story. Fans should try and be realistic next year, as the facts will be we failed to make the 8 this year, conceded more line breaks than any other team, the defence was soft, the backline failed to fire and the team generally looked out-of-sync. There's a massive amount of work to be done if we are to make the 8 next year.

What did we expect in 2005 before the season kicked off?

What do you expect when you rock up to the edge of the Red Sea …cos I look to the distant shore and expect a bloody big swim ...
Moses is only 1 year out of SG Ball next season and there'll be no miracles for a good few seasons yet.

I've wanted major change for a number of years and we finally got it.

Do I think we'll make top 4 in 2014 - no
Do I think we'll make top 8 in 2014 - not sure

Do I think we've finally started on track that gives us a good chance to be a consistently strong and competitive team rather than a team that needs to rely on luck - yes.

& THAT is exciting!

This I agree with. My biggest letdown this year was our stars - Robbie the exception in most cases. We were a top 4 side in 2012, we came outside the top 8\. Signs look positive but I want to see how Potter uses Benji and Anasta before I make a bold faced claim.
