This is the place Sirro..Marrickville Rd near the corner of Illawarra Rd, if you look at the photos here you will notice the line of 4 or 5 people on the street..when we went on Saturday the line was all the way up to the corner, at least 25 people waiting for their fix of pork/chicken roll goodness.. and for good reason…swear out loud awesomeness i tell ya..I went for the Meat ball roll today and a BBQ pork roll the other day..both were beautiful but the BBQ pork wins in my book..I'm interested to know how the chicken goes as well.. $4 best value feed around IMO.

edit: further investigation found this: http://simonfoodfavourites.blogspot.com.au/2009/07/hong-ha-hot-bread-chicken-and-pork.html
i assume it's the place in Mascot that you go to? They also have a line down the street lol..might have to try it out one day.

The Eel stew was going well until we tried to add the Eels to it

Then pandemonium and chaos ruled supreme

Well here is a great Pork recipe anyone can do and makes a great Footy Snack. Buy Pork mince, and corn flower, and whatever spices you like to taste. On a dinner plate, mix corn flower ( as much as you need for how many Pork Balls your making ). Mix salt, pepper, and what ever spices you like ( if any ).
Roll pork mince into round balls about the diameter of a 50c piece or slightly smaller, and roll them in the flower until completely covered.

When you have made as many as you want, stick in fridge on a tray for around (min) 20 minutes. Heat deep fryer to 180' deg, and then fry the little bugga's until golden brown, drain on paper towling, and eat. Promise you these are a great snack. :wahoo:
