Future sexiest man in league winner…

I'd be happy to drop Schirnack off the bench to make way for him, obviously haven't seen enough of him to be sure he'll handle it, but from what we saw of him he looked very capable.

I may even drop BMM for him, but BMM seems to have more potential then Schirnack. I'm just waiting for BMM to be the beast we know he can be.

Yeah hopefully BMM will get more game time than the 17th man.

Hey Mo, I might not be correct but have both the Schirnack bros been told they are not wanted at the club next year?

No idea mate, but I hope so. Someone else might? I do like them, they are decent fill-ins, but I don't think we need them TBH. Not with all the other young talent we have in the forwards.

Hes originally from out my way… Rankin's Springs I believe.

Wests junior. Played first grade for Rankin Springs when he would have been about 16 or 17\. I do not know what he was doing up there, but I believe he is not from there originally.

Represented NSW under 18 and Aust. Schoolboys last year. He is now only 18.

Bumped into Tim Sheen's of all people and we got chatting.
My first question I've always wanted to ask him was Why Matt Groat? He wasn't ready and got belted.
He saw a little himself in Matt. He just had a soft spot for the kid and gave him a shot.
It's that simple.

Just an incredible thread bump. I tip my hat to you.

I never thought I would get closure. Seemed like we lost 27 players to keep him and sign Blair and now that we know it was based on nothing I can finally move on.
We will make the 8 now , the circle is closed.

Copped a cowards hit from Teo, and not one of our blokes stood up for him. Weak. That's where we got the weak-underbelly tag from. Te'o should've got carted off on a stretcher after that. The game has changed but blokes still need to show a bit of ticker when a teammate is wronged.

Glad it was never about winning for Sheens - Couldn’t give David Gower a run from 09 on - but had a spot for Groat.
Never forget Groat asleep at marker in the Warriors final - Kevin Locke used him as a slip and slide on the way to a long range try.
Groat doesn’t play - we win the 2011 GF

Oh nothing to do at all with the short-side raid with a kick out on the full, or Lawrence/Tuqiri unable to clean up a fairly regulation bomb?

Nope, Benji and Robbie don’t take a selfish option on the short side and lose possession instead of a safe play, we win that game. Egos.

Long bow to draw though. Plenty of balls-up's conspired to cost us that game. Experienced players the main culprits.

Never really watched a replay of that game. That one hurts. Hopefully the good times are just around the corner again. Was a good feeling knowing every game we were in with a massive chance of winning, it's been a while.

You know what hurts most about those moments all these years later?

They are the dying moments of our last finals game, think about how long ago that feels and there hasn't been a finals moment to erase that feeling after that game.

Bloody oath mate, feels like good times are coming. Maguire is putting the building blocks down.

I agree, we have very good leadership at the club now, and unlike when Sheens was here it is not all on one person.
