Who is our backup halfback?

No depth at halfback, but tell me what team has

Totally agree. With a bit of depth this year at least we have the ability to cover postions due to injuries. Not ideal but hey at least we have options

I'm told Mbye played 6 & 7 and even 9 at the Bulldogs, but his preferred position is fullback. He was lured to Wests Tigers on the promise of making the 1 jersey his own and not to be shunted around positions anymore.
I wouldn't like to see him forced to be our number 7 unless the injury toll called for desperate moves.

Madden isn’t registered for NRL. ISP only.

Madden is one of the development contracted players a change in the rules this year means they can play NRL after June 30 without an exemption..

Doubt he would be ready for FG ..

Marshall or even Farah at 7 but I'm praying Brooks stays fit for the entire year…didn't miss a game in 2018..touch @happy_tiger s wooden noggin..

So am I talking about quality backup. Ryley Jacks would be a better back up number 7 than any of our options. He's likely to fight an experienced and talented Tyrone Roberts for the 5/8 position though Jacks is better at 7.

Totally agree Ryley Jacks would be our best back up option but would not call him quality as he would not start for any other NRL team. Would be a killer ISP half though
