Who is our most overrated?

After having 50 put on you who isn't overrated .....every players position should be on the line next week

Well that's what other clubs do ...

When you 50 put on you it’s not a individual or even a couple of players that should burden the blame it’s the whole 17 that have to take ownership of the train wreck

Spot on

All of them.

Bur if you have to signal someone out, Brooks.

Has never played a better game than his debut, here we are 6 years later and he hasn't improved one bit.

Well unless that is the amount of kilometres that madge is going to run into them at training this week it not really here nor there

I don't know about most overrated player but the most underrated player id Elijah Taylor. His natural defensive attributes would have held the side together and was certainly the main missing factor. I am tipping that he, along with Benji, will be selected against the Titans. Others to get a first grade run will be Nofo and Dylan Smith. Mbye, I hope, doesn't ever again shift away from the fullback.role.

Both Brooks and Marsters have regressed. Packer appears to lack punch again since starting (thought he was far more effective off the bench.) Mbye has been extremely disappointing this year.

One player that I cannot ever overrate is Corey Thompson. He's not flashy but he just does everything right. A very solid footballer and should be resigned ASAP.

Think you are both wrong.

I have seen him pull off some great hits and some hard hitting bone jarring tackles.

Sure has hell don't know what you guys have been watching - bit of over emotion I'd say.

They have their stalwart supporters on here, but Packer and Matulino for mine. Taking up way too much cap space and get kudos for playing better than their less than ordinary performances - when that occasionally happens.

Mbye
Marsters
Nofolomu
Reynolds
Packer
Matulino
ET
Brooks
McQueen

These guys are literally all on double of what they are worth. The rest are fine, or at least on salaries that reflect their ability.

@Russell

Was ordinary yesterday but he is certainly in our best side. Has generally been decent this year.

Would he make many other NRL sides? Probably not.

A few to pick from: Fonua Packer, Matulino, Taylor, Eiso, Jennings. But then again, who is stepping up to replace them?

As for Mbye, I am not sure what his best position is, but I think Corey Thompson (one of our most UNDERRATED, imho) looks to me to be a far better fullback than him, hands down..

Ive been watching and Garner has come up with some horrible tackles that have led to tries. The last two games when under pressure he grabs and misses.

@simonthetiger I've seen those too, Simon - but he has pulled off some good ones as well.

I would not say he can't tackle though. I would not single him out ether on yesterdays game - how many who played would you give more than 10% out of 100?

We have games like this (no, they are not acceptable and I am not accepting mediocrity) - it has been part of the club for many years. We all wait for it to stop but with various players, various coaches and various opposition it still continues.
Bit like the plague really, just seems to spread down through the years.

I'm hoping someone finds an antidote before it comes time for me to cash in my chips.

Brooks,
I praised him a few weeks ago but he's just awful at taking the right option, his kicking is rubbish, his ability to actually take control on the last play is awful, his persistent flat ball to the lead runner is just premeditated brain dead Footy.

If I see him hit his lead runner again who has a brick wall of defence in his face I'll smash my TV to bits!!

I don't know how many times that he should play out the back because we've created a half chance yet he dishes it to Garner flat (makes me pull my hair out)

Brooks actually gave me a glimpse of hope a few weeks back, I actually thought he'd turned a corner, but now I understand I was wrong.
So I'll say this again, which I've said many times.

We will do ZERO as long as Brooks is our 7!!!

Ok I'll join IF you can put up 1 viable half who isavailable that will get us to the finals...all well and good to say punt this guy punt that guy but no one ever offers the option that they are to be replaced with
Remembering the Club only wanted Brooks re-signed for 3 years ..Maguire stepped in and uped it to 4so he must think it was possiible to play finals unless he is just another nuff nuff coach who has no clue and knows less than all of us..

Ill wait...
