Maybe of more note might be when his last line break assist or try assist is?

Mbye, and it's a long way that he gets it by for me. Not a Captains backside on the field, not a genuine fullbacks backside on the field, and for the money he is on should be a major player for us every week. A dud buy from Cleary at that price. Should be on 450- 500 tops. Older than Brooks, probably paid the equivalent of Brooks, delivers less than Brooks, still hasn't found his niche in the game, yet seems to escape too much criticism. Buggered if i know.

For mine the ball has been slower getting to him and it starts at the play the ball, where delivery has also been generally stifled somewhat further by the coach's structures (assumed) this year, in having the dummy half engage the inner defenders.

Totally agree, making him captain now means he's 1st player picked, dumb move imo.
I don't see him as a leader on the field.

I would have made Brooks captain simply to find out whether or not he's our future, I would have said Luke you're the halfback, you're the captain, it's your team show me what you can do and if in 2yrs time he's still delivering what he is now I'd shop him around and move on.
