Who is renewing Season tickets or pulling out ?

Yep, renewing again …....... seems such a long way to next season ........ takes forever to come around but when it does it goes in a flash !

Trying to do a new membership for my son and getting nowhere. Honestly I don't know how we get any members. I assume all NRL clubs are the same so I guess the NRL is to blame for completely rooting what should be s simple process. Guess I'll need to ring up like I did last year. Why bother having a membership website? In my experience it has never worked.

It sounds very frustrating Yossarian , your better of speaking to them directly as sometimes joining through the Websites is like those Auto phone services where they say Press 1 for …...Press 2 for .......... Press 3.......... i always scream out speak to someone ? then the auto phone service replies " sorry didn't get that try again " , Press 1...... etc. it drives me up the wall. It sounds like your having one of those moments :laughing:

Yeah I've left a message and someone will (hopefully) call back. Should be a lot less challenging. If someone decides to join you need to facilitate that straight away before they lose interest or just don't get around to it. A lot of people just want to do this stuff online and not have to deal with a phone call.

Yeah agreed , we don't sound the most Professional do we? I done it over the phone last week and found it very good and fairly quick .
The reason i wanted to do it over the phone was i told the guy "look i'm a Large man with Broad Shoulders and wouldn't be the best idea to put me in between 2 people" , so i said mate i'd advise you to get me an Aisle seat so you don't get any complaints :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: ,which i'm far from being Large :laughing: , just want an Aisle seat so it's easier to get to the Toilet and to the Bar :wink: :laughing:

work, study, party something always seems to come up on weekends- i'll probs just go to whichever game i can.

I got a receipt without doing anything. Usually I just wait til the near the start of the season but they already did it for me. I didn't think I gave them that authority. I have contacted them about it so will wait for a reply.

Our Club really drives me up the wall sometimes :brick: .
So i ring the Club on the 22nd of October and become a full Season Ticket Holder so i thought ? 😱pen_mouth: . We had a conversation while he was signing me up , He explained to me because i'm a new Season Ticket Holder that the Season Ticket Holder's for 2014 had 1st dibs at there seats they sat on this year and that they had till November the 14th to renew there seats , which is fair enough and rightly so .
I said to the bloke did your Main Grandstands at Campbelltown and Leichardt get sold out with Season Ticket Holder's this year ?(as these Stand's pretty much protect you from the rain ) he said Nooooooo , which sounded like no where near sold out !!!
So i said Cool but i stressed to him that i didn't want to become a Season Ticket Holder and not Guaranteed of an undercover seat? as an interstate fan will be booking my Flights next month when the draw comes out and then on game day go to Sydney and watch my team in the rain , NO THANKS !!!
So i ring them up Today and asked them why my $400.00 for next year wasn't taken out of my Bank Account yet as i thought i became a Season Ticket Holder on the 22nd of
October, she checked my details and said your Membership is to be processed if we can Guarantee you an Undercover seat which i appreciated but we won't know till the 21st of November as there is an extension on 2014 Member's , She said .
Then she offered me to sit on the Keith Barnes Stand at Leichardt ? (behind the Posts ) i said your kidding .
I said you know what don't process my Membership at all you can't even Guarantee a Full Season Ticket Holder an Undercover seat , i'm making a big effort as it is travelling from the Gold Coast .
Our Club is Ancient and still played at Ancient History Grounds that is the reason we have to move away from Campbelltown and Leichardt and move to Modern Grounds with Modern Facilities .
I was prepared to become a Season Ticket Holder despite the year we had and after loosing key players to other Clubs but they can't even give an Undercover seat , she has nerve Keith Barnes stand O.K with you Sir? don't insult me .
Still plan to get down there for some games .

I want to get what you are trying to say, but I just don't.

So they did what they said they were going to do. You spent how long on the phone with them over two calls… And then you changed your mind after they told you upfront of the process.

Foreveratiger, let go of the anger mate. You'll get your seat. Grandstands had lots of space in 2014\. They are just trying to do it in a process, rather than on the fly. They allocate with first signing up new members getting priority.

If you didn't spit it, they would have called you, tailored your seats as much as possible. You would look forward to it sooo much more knowing your a member.

Call them back. We are all hurting, but next year is a fresh start. You know you want it.

will probably not renew the season membership, 16 games last year and only made it to 8 or 9 mostly cause i work evenings. will get LO/ANZ.

does anyone know if when it says "MEMBERS ONLY General Admission seating at all Home Games" does that mean if i get an ANZ membership i can go to all the LO/CS games for free? seems too good to be true.

Mccarry , yeah i dribbled on , but i wasn't Happy that day . The thing i was committed to the cause and i rang up originally to find out why my Money wasn't taken out to become a Season Ticket Holder ? I appreciated her response and made perfect sense the Process they do , 1st priority 2014 Member's then next on the pecking order …... when she offered if i wanted to sit in Keith Barnes Stand i thought your taking the piss out of me i thought .😱pen_mouth:
Anyway i will still be going down to plenty of games , it just means i can play it by ear and schedule which games interest me the most . If we are having a really bad year there will be nothing worse than going to a nothing game when my flights are already purchased .
I'll be there don't worry about that .

Got a call from Skando on Tuesday ….. had a chat with him about his first ever match for the Magpies against Penrith. He reckons he had a target on his head that night .... what a welcome to first grade that was .......... anyway, really enjoyed having a chat to him and told him I will be continuing my long association with the club again in 2015 as a member.

Definitely rate the view.
I get to a few of the NSW Cup games at Leichhardt Oval and you can sit wherever you want. I always choose the Keith Barnes stand. The only thing is you don't get your own seat, as you can see in this image.


But you are undercover and it's a nice view.
I'd definitely recommend it.

That Stand looks like it's been refurbished , looks very nice . You know what next year when i get down there for a game i will sit there and try it :wink: i will go early enough for the Under 20's and sample that game before making a decision for 1st Grade (to watch it from there) ,the only thing is i'm not a fan of watching games behind the posts (well diagonally in this instance).
Sabre what happens if i need to go to the toilet ? i lose my seat :laughing:
