WHO IS/WAS THE MOST ANNOYING COMMENTATOR?

vossy and sterling are my favs.
sometimes no commentary is good commentary-as Richie benaud practised.
and there is the mute button.
 
Maroon was horrendous on the Rabbits Panthers trial yesterday. If he's calling on MMM I'll switch over to AM.

Not many of the Fox callers do it for me at the moment either. Can't stand Anasta and Parker.
 
It would have been much easier to list the one's that are OK - Warren Smith from Fox is the best.
However, Hadley is the worst followed by the Rabbits Warren/Phil Gould combo. Garbage!
 
A better question would have been who is the best commentator because it is a very narrow field. As for the worst, so many to choose from, but for me I am just going to throw a blanket over the whole nine team and nominate them with Anasta a very close second
 
By far for me it would have to be Phil Gould and A.Johns followed very closely by Fittler and Hadley bringing up the rear. Johns and Fittler struggle speaking English at the best of times and the egos of the other two nutters well let’s just say having their own post code wouldn’t cover it.
 
I was going to say Ray Warren is way out infront and the others haven't left the barrier. He has stayed 20 years too long.

And then someone else mentioned Matt Nable. I've heard better commentary at the pub from an old barfly thats had 10 schooners of Reschs.

So its a two way dead heat for me.

I didn't mind it actually. It had a cameo from Tommy and a few others. But certainly but not unto the standard of This Sporting Life made in the 60's.
 
So many I cant stand the 2 that annoy me the most at the moment are Braith and Gus.

I agree with Daley. He did know his stuff but after a try or excitement, instead of doing a brief 2 sentence statement he went on, and on and on. Literally 60 seconds later hes still harping on about it. If he just decreases his chatter by 66% hed be ok..

Jeez it was frustrating.. Gould did exactly the same.
 
Can't believe nobody has said Andrew Johns. For me he is the worst by the straight. Followed by Lockyer. They just run with Gus's opinions.

He was a great footballer and would probably be fun to have a few beers with, but as a commentator, I can't stand him.
