If we get Laurie then he'll be fullback and Mbye at 5/8. If we don't get him but have Gebbie he will likely play fullback with Mbye at 5/8. Yes even on a dev contract he can play first grade if other specialists in the position are all injured.
Other option are Nof/Kepaoa at fullback. Not a huge fan of this though for one game maybe, and then Mbye at 5/8. Otherwise Mbye will play fullback and it would be between Momo and Madden for 5/8 - i would think in that situation Madge would opt for Momo given his experience and the fact we're playing away to a team we often get smashed by.

You would assume he would put the kicker in there somewhere, but he has form in not doing that. So I think Mbye.

I think Mbye will be the perfect 14 for us all year, I would like 4 forwards but with Liddle it won’t happen imo.

But it does highlight a weakness in our halves, maybe JR wasn’t that good an idea after all?

That has changed..a while ago ..suspended players can play in a sanctioned trial but the suspension is served in NRL season games
