Who should Madge's assistant coaches be for 2022?

Ok all, now that Madge is safe for now who do you all feel should become his assistants for 2022 and what roles do you see them performing?

e.g. Defence coach, Attach coach, Halves coach, Assistant coach etc.

I'd be all for Robbie having an increased role within the team. Given he's fresh out of the game he'd have a better understanding of it's modern evolution. He'd still have a pretty solid relationship with a lot of the playing group and a club legend. I feel he'd be a natural in the coaching arena.

But seriously ….one of Neil Henry or Dean Pay type is what is needed.
A rookie would add nothing at this stage of the game. We need men with experience with skill to compliment what Madge and Sheens have to bring. What we don’t need is conflict of ideas so recruitment of assistants will be tricky. That’s one reason the process seems to have been taken partially from Madge ….. final decision no longer solely in his hands.

Ciraldo only now 36yrs old and wouldn't have a third of Robbie's experience in the game. He was given an assistant role at Riff and made caretaker coach in 2018 when Griffin was punted and only a few yrs later considered head coach material.

It's about motivating and unlocking talent and belief in the younger playing group as much as it is teaching the technical aspects of the game. Robbie was always a hard trainer and willing to do whatever it took to win. Not many have a stronger passion for the Tigers than he does.

Made a difference already in a smaller role, briefly...

Imagine what he could do in a more hands on role.

I think Gibbs and/or Fulton would be good around the team. Bring back some lightness to the atmosphere.

Henry, as suggested by a few previous posters, would be a good actual assistant. Seems like a decent fellow also, so unlikely to 'siebold' Madge.

i would love to see Dean Pay as an assistant coach/Defensive coach, well respected and although the Dogs werent great when he was there due to the mess Des left him they tried asses off for him

Ciraldo was asst coach of Penriths u20s for a year and then head coach for the next 2 years. They were minor premiers twice and won a comp. THEN he got the first grade asst job.

He has way more experience and success than Farah as a coach.

I def see some merit with either Dean Pay and or Neil Henry with maybe someone like a Farah in the mix to give that broad spectrum of experienced older hand and younger youthful connection and passion for the club.
