Who should Madge's assistant coaches be for 2022?

Tell me we are not waiting for Sheen to arrive to announce assistant/s as that could be Nov and once again we would be behind the 8 ball. The Media were saying we are expected to have this announced this week so not sure if that's true either.

Doubt it. This was in the Hartigan statement 5 days ago: "with the club to confirm its new-look football department next week."

What on Earth is @paws going to do, first Madge is retained, then Flanagan is declined... let's hope for his sake Tim Sheens doesn't change his mind!

Flanagan, Sheens and madge was never gonna work, too many alpha's.

Isn't cayless and Gardner as assistants just madge hiring his mates again.

Suppose we will have to wait and see .. in that regard if that is the case there will be two younger versions of the assistants that have just been removed .
Both have been or are working under Maguires philosophies so nothing is going to change in any respect .
Gardiner would of been ok the second spot should be an assistant with fresh views and structures .

Not for me,Robbie would be the most likely in the future afaic but not for a year or so and i dont know if Benji would have the right mindset for it as he was always doing "impulsive" plays which would be a concern as a coach

The club are please to confirm that we have appointed Tim Sheens as our new Director of Football. Tim guided the Wests Tigers to the 2005 grand final win and has now taken up a new role overseeing recruitment, pathways, football administration and club culture. We expect to see Tim arrive safely to Australia in the coming weeks and begin working closely with all football staff towards the 2022 season.

Got an email and Justin wrote me a letter including new logo bumber sticker.

I would prefer to see Benji and Farah at arm's length from any team coaching duties. Providing helpful hints to younger guys is enough.

Benji actually reads and analysis plays really well when I have seen him in this role on TV

Benji actually reads and analysis plays really well when I have seen him in this role on TV

From memory, Sheen's said something similar back when Benji was injured and spent time in the coaches box.
