Who stays and who Goes.

New coach, hopefully new direction and new culture. Now for that much needed and long awaited clean out. I don't want to be pessimistic, prefer to be realistic. But 2017 is gone. No amount of wishing, hoping or praying is going to make a shred of difference. So, I'm prepared to put up with more pain. the bias from the media, the whinging from "So Called Tigers Supporters". Bring it on, just get it done with.
What we need is a good old-fashion Ricky Stuart cleanout. Here's my list of players off contract NOT to be resigned. Ballin, Edwards, Grant, Heleta, Hunt, Lovett, (always think of Nathan Brown, whenever Lovetts name in mentioned. Naiqama, Rankin, Seumanufagai, (might be a bit hard, but he is soft.
The "Maybe Column", Brooks, Chee-Kam (only thing going for him is that he should come cheaply, if he is paid on ability. Idris, (too early to tell, but early signs are not promising). Moses, (personally I reckon the jury is still out on him, but definitely not worth what Isaac Moses has told him his worth). Woods, (sorry I reckon this guy is soft, how he gets into State of Origin side has always had me beat. The one's to sign, Littlejohn, (offers value for money). McIiwrick, (surprised me, value for money). Nofoaluma, (Good Boy, puts his hand up all the time.). Tedesco, (hope he stays).
Lawrence has got to be shopped around, no new coach should have to cop him for 2 more years after this season.
Now we have some real money, top of my list is Todd Carney, seen him beat the Tigers on his own many times, getting older but, still has a lot to offer. Also the only person Carney ever hurt was himself. He has more than paid his penalty. And obviously those four new forwards who might have an understanding of the terms, Defence and 2 forty minute halves.

I think Grant was one of our best today, that shot that he put on Cronk was the first big hit i've seen from the Tigers in a long time. Though i do think he lacks consistency. As for Seumanufagai, he is probably the best forward as far as impact in the team. It all depends on who we would get to replace them though. We have to trade up.

Todd Carney would be a good signing if his head is right. How old is he now?

We do need a clean out. However can we attract any players?

Jack Bird would be a great signing.

Assuming we keep one of either Moses or Brooks, why not get a Blake Green/Kieran Foran type player?
Just someone not too flash who can take the pressure of them when required.

Maybe Ata Hingano or Josh Mccrone.
I'd imagine they would be pretty cheap.

Why would anyone based on our current form want to come here ??

We have so many issues compared to probably 14 other clubs who can offer the same or more and you have a realistic chance of making semis

I won't be surprised of our next two points doesn't come until the bye

Clubs just need to hang for the first 30 minutes with us , we aren't fit enough (physically or mentally ) to hang tough and we just lack everywhere across the park

Naiqama, Rankin, Lawrence, Edwards, Brooks, Idris & Lovett can all go, imo.

Replace with Whare, SKD, Gray, McQueen, Glenn, Townsend & B. Lawrence

If we miss out on Cleary we become a laughing stock in the NRL. We will then have a war chest to spend on all the players no one else wants.

We could just demote him to team mascot or chief refreshment advisor.
