Who was good and who sucked

Teddy was good, tried really hard.
Noffa was good, didn't get enough opportunities. Playing outside Ayshford will do that.
Ayshford sucked. So much suck.
Simona was really good. So impressed with how much he's come along.
Koroibete was good but made a couple of gaffes, hardest runner in the NRL.
Marshall was better than lately but still below average. At least he took the right options on occasion.
Anasta was god awful. Kicking sucked, passing sucked, defence sucked, footy IQ sucked.
Galloway was really good. Lots of metres, ran hard.
Luani struggled but did some okay things, poor options too often.
Blair was really good. Lots of metres and lots of tackles.
Fulton was good. My lord does he try.
BMM was great. Best game I've seen from him. Was very hard to handle.
Sue was looking good til he got injured.
Ava in limited game time looked unstoppable! Best game I've seen him play. Definite first grader.
Buchanan. He's getting better every week. Looked busy in attack and defence.
Sironen was remarkable in his 15 minutes.
Spence was good. Actually made an impact with his runs. Nice offload and good amount of work.

Best:
BMM, Blair, Galloway, Simona, Ava

Worst:
Anasta, Ayshford

We had two non performers tonight but it was critical. I thought most of our team were really good and Parra were right up for it. When your "halfback" is worst on ground you've got no chance, especially when your five-eighth is almost as bad.

Good summation.

I hate to beat a dead horse, but basically Anasta, Thompson and Ayshford HAD to be dropped after last week.

Yet Potter kept all three. Thompson hurt himself, so big Ben comes in and kills them.

Anasta and Ayshford were still bad enough to lose us the game. How did Potter not see this coming. Picking those three was a disgrace. Thompson and his one hit up over big Ben was a disgrace. sitting Siro and playing Anasta was a disgrace. Picking Ayshford after he literally didnt try last week was a disgrace. Potter will cop it all week, but this time it is his own fault.

Tonight showed that we have the worst halves in the comp and Cronulla got shafted buying Ayshford LOL.

Anasta and Ayshford lost it for us. Also not having Woodsy and Farah hurt a lot. Forwards were strong considering all those injuries to sue and koro stopped a lot of go forward.

Benji was okay. Average game, nothing like 2010 which is exactly what i said pre-game and got ridiculed as usual.

Who was good?

All the players with 25 or Less First Grade Games under their belts.

Who was bad?

The ones who have played more than that.

Thats a pretty accurate summation right there.

Thought Benji was v/ good (comparatively to his halfback obviously, not Carney good or anything) tonight. Set up tries, took the line on, offloaded and made metres.

He cannot tackle at all, is our biggest liability in defence, because he is ineffective, always allowing an offload or having to drag in another defender, which creates the over lap.

He will fit in well in union, not much tackling for him.

Every single one of our players except Farah and Woods are defensive liabilities. Benji at least tries to correct defensive errors & makes stuff in attack

Too right

Ayshford was our worst on ground again

Anasta wasn't great but his attack improved a bit I thought

Nofoaluma was out of position in defence a couple of times and he needs to work on that because it wasnt the first time this year

Forwards were great to be honest although BMM needs to work harder in defence

Luani - had some moments but showed he isn't up to FG but thats why he is our third string hooker this year

I think it takes a little more than Anasta and Ayshford being poor to lose against parra. Seriously our whole team is poor across the park that's the honest truth and has been for some time. Some players are just worse than others and that can change from week to week but overall we're poor as a team, look at our stats as a team, you don't get to the position we are on the ladder by only having 2 or 3 players playing poorly.

They won't be dropped and rightly so.

Anyone hear the comments by Fittler in commentary? Mentioned he spoke to Potter before the match and asked about the young players like Brooks and Moses. Potter's attitude is that the current squad got the team into this mess, so they take responsibility. Why should players like Brooks and Moses take on this burden?

This from a coach who is apparently on the chopping block. Willing to lose these games in order to protect these young players from this train wreck and enable them to start next year afresh. It is painful to take as a fan, but if this is the case, happy to take the pain.

KG was good. Other than him, I can't really take my hat off to anyone. Everyone else was par and the rest not FG standard. Simple.
We got a penalty , Benji looker at KG and asked if he wanted to run, KG was buggered but he took the hit up. Well done, on top of the leg driving he did.
Real future there with him and woodsy.
Koro had the right intensity, shame his hands let him down a couple of times.
But geez parra got lucky with a few calls.
