Who will be coach in 2022?

Madge will be coach. Blaming the halfback and the coach without understanding the problems may be easy but that does not make it right.

in the 2 and a half years Madge has been here our defence has gradually gotten worse. don't blame the new rules, look at it for what it is. our players cannot count numbers, our forwards do not hold their own in the middle and our edges have forgotten they own two shoulders. there is something very very wrong behind closed doors, because we are unable to put up a fight defensively when courage comes to call.

Wests Tigers and poor defence is a given, but this is diabolical. they're not listening to him. it's time.

a rookie coach is a risk, but we need someone who understands how to get the new generation up for a game. put a decent support network around a Gardiner, Ciraldo or Morris and bite the bullet. there's no one I can think of that's an established coach that I'd go after.

Morris had two and a bit good years at the Sharks. With Sheens onboard as a mentor, who else would he need? Morris is a smart operator.

The players are just not listening to Madge. You could see the big spiel before the game in the sheds then they come out flat as a tac. If they are listening, then that makes it even worse for Madge because so far you could only conclude he can't coach.

As for the support staff, if your the defensive coach of this team i don't know how you could look at yourself in the mirror. Complete failure who should never be near an NRL team again.

I disagree. Our younger players will improve.

Our young players like Laurie, AD, Blore and Stef are going ok. It’s the guys who’ve played plenty that are just crap.

I don't agree also. Bring in a new coach with advice from Sheens and our team will improve.

Agree to disagree the guys there now that have been in FG more than a year or two (except Brooks) are just not up to standard. We recruited horribly again.

I posted this just after Ivan showed his true colors and I haven't changed this opinion.
Plan A = Niel Henry, astute and respected, coaches a team that he has in front of him, not the team he wants, drives a competitive culture (Hayne ducked him), every single player north of the border loves this bloke, cheap.
Plan B= The Walker Brothers ,their style of coaching is not only perfect for the current game, but the West Tigers default. Don't get you hopes up, we won't get the kid.
Madge is still obsessed with signing big bodies that lack just don't fit the modern game
