Good Topic Swaggy! WT's have signed a lot of depth players in the Off-season. No super-stars that demand a walk up start. However, in Round One It looks like we will be testing our new recruits. The NRL retirement of Patty along with Round One suspension's of Brooks and Halatau plus the possibility of injuries from Trail games & 9's plus the All-Star game. Some of our depth players will have to step up to the NRL faster than some may have previously thought.

BTW. Here's a hypothetical Question.. If an Outside back got injured during the game. And had to come off straight away…(Chee Kam was on the bench & Lawrence playing in the back row). Who would you put in the backs?
I'm assuming it would be Chee Kam. As Chee Kam has been training at centre and Lawrence has further bulked up and is set to see out his NRL career as a Back-Rower.

Interesting scenario TD - I'd say Chee Kam - don't want to confuse the issue with Rowdy. He is now a back rower and I think will be a really good one. Swapping him back and forth between backs and forwards really messes your mind. He doesn't need that, as he is still adjusting to the finer points of back row play. As you say he has also bulked up a bit which would slow his centre play down a bit more than it was ( one of the things people disliked when he was still at centre).

However if there was no Chee Kam on the bench and no other utility there either, we may not have the luxury of not moving him there. At least he would still know the position but may not be quick enough to stop the opposition running around him.

Sirro is the only other one I can think of that could do a reasonable job of covering a back, if an injury occurred. Halatau has also covered there before.
