It’s a tough one if you ask me, Matterson was the perfect fit for us. And Marsters at one point in his career was our go to man for attacking raids.
Until last season when Marsters got owned by opposition teams. Both were only relatively inexperienced also. BJ is far more seasoned and Lucy is relatively inexperienced also. But with brothers playing together that gives them the upper hand here for mine. But we’ll see as the season goes on.

They give this team so much more attacking flare.
Marsters was absolutely crap last season.
Matterson was great, but I can see LL also adding a heap of attacking options.

Yes, I think LL has that innate talent to be something special and I hope Madge is the right coach to take him to the next level. I think he will eventually surpass Matterson in value and what he can bring to the team.

As for BJ, a new club, new environment and playing alongside his brother for the first time in his career will hopefully give him a new lease of life. At his best, Leilua is already a superior player to Marsters, so let’s hope we see him at his best while he is playing in our colours.

I’m quite excited about seeing what the brothers can bring to the team in coming seasons, the loss of both Matterson and Marsters is way less painful with the off season addition of these two. In fact, I couldn’t care less about either of them anymore, I think we’ve ended up with the better deal.

To point out the obvious: far too early to tell. Need to actually see the boys in action before we pass judgement. Masters was very disappointing last year but Matterson was one of our best.

I am enthused by their performance in their trial but the season proper is where it counts.

We dont want players who are disgruntled being at our club.You saw what a cancer moses was in not trying and sabotaging our club,mattersons form dropped towards the end of the season and i dont think it was a coincidence

To make it in the NRL you need a strong will ...putting everything 2nd mentality ....I can't see players being influenced one way or another by Matterson's wants / needs

I'd still argue if Matterson finished the season in the back row instead of playing as a middle player ...he probably is still at the WT's
