Wholesale changes

Sorry but we are still a chance at finals. We need to play our strongest team can’t throw development players in for no reason.

If AD is in doubt I would put Benji to FB if AD is playing play him 5/8 Packer and Eiso should be back the new kid from the Rorters should get a run put him in the Centres Tommy T defence is still a bit suss but can stay on the wing Walters to the bench

I think Madge is getting back to his old tricks.
Doueihi played that second half with an hamstring injury.
When Madge was asked if Doueihi is injuried he said what injury? You saw that break he made.

Is Madge back to pushing our players to play injured?
It was convenient with Twal as Eiso was in form and Mikale was replaced by Packer but who do we honestly have to cover Talau and Doueihi who are both playing injured.

Yep I was thinking the exact same thing.

Yeah also thought the same. His response in the presser was a little uncertain and not very convincing. Hopefully not the case.

Doueihi seemed to be running just fine, why would you assume that the people who have the facts are lying? What does Madge gain by playing someone with a hamstring injury or lying about it?

The on field leadership issue needs to be addressed as of this week Mbye needs to relinquish the captaincy immediately . Madge desperately needs to find a replacement amongst the men he has to choose from . I think there are a few candidates that would fit the bill for the remainder of the season .

The only real captain material is Packer. Let him lead.

Because Madge didn't have anybody to re[place him?

Doueihi was replaced last week just after half time, not impossible. He was also running with no problems, the padding on the legs may have not been hamstring related, I don't know, I'm not a doctor.

After his first break, he reaches for his hamstring. It was soon after that. And it wasn’t strapping it was like a heavy duty compression sleeve.

Back to why would he lie, is it a conspiracy?

Before people go off and start making ridiculous changes have a closer look at that game and our other bad losses. We got absolutely rolled in the middle, once again we looked flat and were dominated by Warriors forwards who made easy metres and pinned us in our own half for too much of that game. We made poor errors, did not pressure their kickers enough, had no line speed in D or aggression and did not wrap up the ball allowing offloads all game.
Some of the replacements being mentioned are nowhere near NRL standard (Madden, Smith, Cini etc) and would only make things worse.
I would rest AD, send Garner and Aloiai to bench for Packer and Blore to start. Brooks and Marshall as halves with Reynolds on bench. Lawrence rested with Joey back. Twal in prop rotation with Sam M as the lock.

We looked flat. Maybe playing Parramatta the week before had something to do with it. The last game we looked as flat as that was against Souths having played Penrith the week before.

Season gone with that loss. Here's my wholesale changes v Knights.
Not sure if development players eligible but I'm assuming they are.

1. Dylan Smith
2. David Nofaoluma
3. Zac Cini
4. Tommy Talau
5. Asu Kataoa
6. Benji Marshall (c)
7. Jock Madden
8. Josh Aloiai
9. Harry Grant
10. Russell Packer
11. Luciano Leilua
12. Shawn Blore
13. Alex Twal
14. Matt Eisenuth
15. Tom Mikaele
16. Luke Garner
17. Jake Simpkin
Goalkicker: Anyone. Packer could have landed those 2 missed conversions tonight.

Field that side and we will get lapped.

Mathematically we are a chance. That is all.

Lots of talk about the backs - the forwards are our problem atm. Unless they give us some go forward and show dominance in defence we will lose just like we did against the Warriors. The backs have be doing enough in attack to score points if the forwards fire -when they don't we get beat.

To those who say 'but they're reserve graders'.....so what? Most of them out there tonight played like reserve graders.

Yeah and if you played the reserve graders, they would play like Flegg players.

No thanks.

brookes fullback. benji start then renolds comes in 2nd half.

What’s with the Brooks at fullback ?
What’s your thinking ?

There is no thinking Hobbo.

Did you watch Cini play in the U20s against Illawarra? He had Camroux and Scolari minding him in defence. One of the Feagai bros made him look awful in defence. I like him but he needs to work overtime on his defence.
