Who's confident?

as we have shown this year, we have a chance against any team (e.q. 2 wins against the Mescaleros), if we reduce number of errors and penalties we will win :sign:

I am confident and I don't know why.

The Titans are not a sorted team. They do have some strengths though.
A few awesome forwards in Jai and Ryan James.
Peats and that old dragons hooker. So had we not signed Farah I would not be rating us.
Elgey and Taylor, who can pile on the points.

But they have lost Cartright and their team is dis-organised.

If we decide to Defend and hold our line. We will win. It will be tough up front and if Packer and Mats can give our halves some space we will pile on the points. I see the game in our court not theirs, it's ours to win or loose.

Losing Cartwright is a plus for them and a negative for us, he's a terrible footballer.

The problem is exactly what you mentioned, Packer and Matulino haven't been laying a platform and now they're coming up against a SOO pack.
There's nothing to give me confidence that anything will change.

I'll just remind everyone again that in his last 2 games Matulino has made 40m and 37m carrying the ball.
I've got to walk further than that to get to my letterbox!!!!

If we get behind on the scoreboard we're in trouble we need to come out firing and put points on early, this grind business isn't doing us any favours.

Well you'll be ecstatic that Matulino is out - so all go from your end.

Matulino has been very solid in the middle. We’ll miss him tomorrow

I see this game being similar to the game in 09 when we beat the Cows. The day Farah and Watts had the bust up in the scrum. I see us winning. It will be a feel good win given Farah and Mbye, but I can’t see it catapulting us on any sort of run. We’ve really hurt ourselves over the last 8 weeks. Similar to when we lost 6 in a row in 2016\. We recovered reasonably well to give ourselves a chance, but the damage had already been done. Even 4 points out of the 8 with our run home is still a steep hill to climb.

With Mats out we will miss that defence in the middle.

Does that mean more pressure on the old man in the middle - Lord have mercy on him

No it doesn't - he will be busy enough with the expectation of winning the game on his own.

That old man's attitude I will imagine will be exactly the same as Gough Whitlam when queried what about if there is a God when he dies - Gough stated "I shall treat him as an equal!". Could you imagine Farah up there with Artie and Tommy R (by then) swapping stories and putting poop on the real God querying what position did he play?

Cleary has pulled the rabbit out of the hat before can he repeat, why did Matulino get injured this week? who is his replacement? Ryan James crashing through - say no.

Yes, that was a great game. We all cheered Robbie that day. Fortunately there was no HIA

We should be winning vs the Titans.
Instead, man we return to our Glory days. We look so dangerous we could pile on 30 points and defended really like a Gouda or a nice soft Brie.

Were WAY out of sync. Passionate, but really out of sync and not defending the middle. Kevie, you rock and we will miss you.

I was confident…

But how can I ever be confident again?
Team is full of duds and the NRL is a pathetic mess.
The ref's have no idea.

Clowns.

I was not confident.

Titans were in better form and arguably have the better side. Could not understand the discrepancy in price.

Leichhardt Oval talk went to the players heads.

However we were pretty limp and hopeless all afternoon.
