My concern is that assuming the coach has a say in recruitment, under potter, we have our 2 best players allegedly taking ip contracts eating up over 30% of the cap. Throw in must haves like teddy and woodsy on their expected market value, it gets closer to 50% and the cupboard starts to get a little bare when it comes to buying other key positional and depth players. This forces us to raid the bargain basement for players

How do the storm fit Smith,Cronk,Slater and the others in,Souths,Roosters,Brisbane,Canterbury,Manly,Gold Coast all manage to fit a heap of high profile players under the cap,we must be buying or keeping the wrong ones.

You have got to be kidding me half the stuff being said on this thread.

Potter the problem? We've been stuck in this rut for the last 18 months and it's only taken last night for people to compete that Potter is the issue? What were you expecting from him with a seriously depleted squad, which is ordinary at full strength.
We have underlying issues within every area of the club which all need to be re-evaluated – strength & conditioning, recruit management etc. Potter has been dealt bad cards and he's dealing with them how he can. Anyone expecting a premiership this year was in-over their heads tbh.
