Why are we so inconsistent?

I love Marshall but he is the reason why. When he has a good game we have a good game and win, when he has a bad game then we have a bad game and lose. He has his good games every now and then but not all the time.

i think people are really gonna think your me if you always post first on my threads lol maybe you should wait until some one else posts and then posts im joking

Imho when your best player/players are inconsistent the whole team is because the whole structure of a team is usually based on your best player/players

Do we really need to be subjected to the constant back and forth between these two? Like putting bamboo shoots under your fingernails

the whole problem is benji.
He's still a god.
it seems we rely on him for the magic.
When does it happen?
Its up to Potter to fix this -
Maybe thats why Benji's going to feed the scrums for a while.
We dont need a hero.
Inconstant is our middle name.
It's been a month only
give it 2 - 3 years.
We are in the dawn of a new era.

Forget Benji/Robbie …. Blah Blah it's all about the philosophy and the mind set of the club and all within her!! The coach is the key .Melbourne are the example Bellamy and Bellamy alone .After years of Sheens creation of a one man team it will take Potter some time to change it and I would expect a lot of player movement to do it as with assistant coaches trainers and the like ...it will come but will take time.

Reminds me of the Toung Sleng school in Cambodia. The bamboo shoots that is.

WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :brick: :brick:

I'm not being smart or nothing but what is the point of this thread , this has been discussed time over again
1\. New coach and ideas being brought in
2\. young players with lack of experience
3.injuries to key players that have cost us , last year and this year
4.Potter having to try and fix some of Sheenious problems
5.Disillusioned players amongst our squad in seeing players gone (Gibbs, Fifita,Heigno, Ryan ) while 2 of them had contracts.
6.Potter having to play players he didn't have a say and were here already
There you go not hard to work out some reasons . Please don't tell me you thought we were a top 4 team or something :unamused:

So you're agreeing with us.

It ain't just Benji that is to blame….sure he is the main offender but more often than not he at least tries to make something happen. Ayshford, Moltzen, Lawrence, Blair and at least 10 others are all inconsistent too, it seems that more often than not our players would rather look flashy and lose than look ordinary and get the win. That there is our problem and has been since the razzamatazz, flick pass, no-look pass, one-in-a-million type plays circa '05\. Farah and perhaps Woods are our only true week-in week-out solid players.
We need to recruit more of those type players to be a threat.

oh let the youngens play - afterall all their questions will be/ should be answered by the forum. They are curious & they love Wests Tigers with a passion. They belong here. In a funny way. They have more questions than answers.

yeh, but the plan hinges around Benji - not the others you have mentioned.
Thats the difference.

I agree with the notion the coach will fix the problem of inconsistently, but blaming individuals for it I don't agree with. They were built up as the game winners every game and with that comes the inconsistency of passes and kicking a stern voice and action can fix it !.. well that is if there is an ear that wants to listen?.

We are inconsistent for sure and annoyingly so, but interestingly, so are the Eels, Penrith, Titans, Roosters, Canberra and the Warriors. They have been for years, same as us - world beaters one week, also rans the next.
