Why Can't Brooks Kick?

He is actually having a go in defence this year and looks focused, no bad influences at the club anymore and good on him

2 forced drop outs last night, the winning try, 9 tackles and no misses (hasn't missed one in 2018), 2 tckle breaks, 2 offloads, a line break and ran 8 times for over 70 meters - If he does that every week you can keep Cleary because thats great against the Storm at Home

I am liking Brooks in 2017!

Your only as good as your last game and he played well. His defence was outstanding, his kicking was great and oh yeah he scooped up the ball, beat a defender and scored the winning try!

He is my hero for this week!

Brooks was bashed from pillar to post even when he wasn't playing…. :crazy

Sorry should have typed 2018\. Was a big night last night you know. Haven't you heard we beat the Storm.

Haven't had my bacon and eggs yet and only 2 coffees into the morning.

Tonight was his best game at the club imo.
Never seen as much intensity from him.

Certainly his best game since his debut. Sad that his development stalled for years thanks in large part to clueless coaching.

How confident does he look here

He looks very comfortable, and it looks like it's translating to onfield performances. Was quick to quash the #9 positional change and had a giggle when a journo was talking about Moses' misfortune.

Reading through the Game thread looks like 3 more repeat sets for Luke a Try assist from a Luke kick and a Field Goal from his boot as well..Oh and still no 7 tackle sets conceded..

Tally for 2018…6 repeat sets Zero... 7 tackle sets.... 1 Try Assist.... 1 FG..

Okay, okay, you guys are right!! Last night, Luke showed us that he can defend, that he lead a team around the park and that he can place deft kicks!! I think this was the biggest positive to come out of last night's game. Well done to the young fella - I really hope it continues!

Plus the kick that hit the post, would otherwise have been a try and the bad bounce that meant Thompson dropped a try tonight and the one Benji wad just beaten to last week.
His defence has been first class
Go Brooksie!

Well Well Well…3 more repeat sets for Luke..a well planned 40/20 and still Zero 7 tackle sets...

Tally for 2018 ..9 repeat sets Zero... 7 tackle sets.... 1 Try Assist.... 1 FG..1 40/20..

Give us the stats on when he runs at the line and takes the tackle !

Only saw a half today but I reckon I seen him go to to the line in the space of 3 sets

Kudos Luke

Was good to see, puts the offensive line on notice

I have to eat my words. Brooks's kicking has improved immeasurably. Actually, his all round game, including defense has come on leaps and bounds. Great to see.

3 more repeat sets a TRY assist and one out on the full to the tally

Tally for 2018 ..12 repeat sets Zero… 7 tackle sets.... 2 Try Assist.... 1 FG..1 40/20..1 error
