Why did we sign Daniela and Brown?

Tia is on alot better money that we are giving Daniella and Toupou from what I have been told.

He is being heralded as a bargain buy but in reality he is pretty pricey considering his real value.

Why Did we Sign Brown and Daniela…?...I guess many pple are asking the same questions when we have better talent growing and waiting in our own back yard...money should've been spent retaining the likes of Tuiaki or consolidating the dough and buying a single Marquee player...strange decision these...

I'd say Sheens is looking to strengthen the outside backs in preparation for Collis moving on, Ayshford moving to lock & challenging Beau Ryan. Daniela, Brown & Toupo (whatever the spelling is) cover those moves, while providing depth at fullback too- a position that wasn't secure before Gallant got an offer to stay.

Taumana is the one I don't understand- not with Lui playing so well in the 20's.

Sheens may see something that he can develop into our structure.

None of us knows the reason.

Daniella has fallen apart over his last two season with the Panthers and it is sad to see.

I do not see the point in Toupou but match payments don't cost you anything if he doesn't play

Spot on. Why don't we ask this question IF they do not succeed by mid next season. It's not like we had a choice between Folau and Brown, and went for Brown. It is not like we had a choice of keeping Lawrence and went for Daniella instead. Some are too quick to criticise. These players may develop into worthy team members. I don't see too many concerned we lost Collis, and clearly the club wanted to keep Tagive.

My main concern is, although on a five week streak and hopefully a few more to come, we still have not done ANYTHING to fix our problem area–the engine room. At present we are a boarder line top eight team because we don't have the quality and the quantity of depth in the forwards and mainly the frontrow to get through the rigors of a season. Now of course if we had some of that this year we would have turned some of those very close losses around and now be in the top four and coming home with a wet spinnaker, and to thinks things will be different next year is very dangerous. One things for certain, three outside backs isn't going to make us into a top four side.

its pretty simple guys, there aren't many good backs coming through the grades

there's so many talented forwards coming through the grades
Gower,Akeripa,Davidson,Dwyer,Laurie,Shirnack,Hyland,Woods most of these guys are ready to play now and we may lose them if we sign some old prop who wont offer nothing

You serious, there's 2 great centres in Davis and Pritchard playing in the state cup for the magpies.these guys would have been much better options then Daniela and Brown..
